This episode... left me speechless O_o

First of all, it was quite dramatic without being ridiculous (well, not too ridiculous, we are talking about card games in outer space here), and

[spoiler=HURR]Antinomy's death

was epic. Also, for the first time after so long I can't even remember, Yusei used a demi-complex strategy to pull off a win rather than Synchro spam. Even if

[spoiler=DURR]it involved several one-shot cards that were pulled out of nowhere.

But, the disappointment was when

[spoiler=HURR DURR SPOILER]Yusei drew his last card and the third tuner wasn't Savior Dragon, what with the mark blazing and all. Instead it was Hyper Synchron which he literally never uses.

Still, quite an epic episode. I don't even feel like making fun of it (yet).

... and i was expecting some funny summary of the episode from you i just read the last line

also.... Junk Beserker really doesn't deserve to be the cover card of EXVC now - it didn't get revived, oh well i thought the episode was meh near the end after the duels end and...[spoiler=don't read this if you haven't seen the episode yet]antinomy's death

Antinomy was dead from the beginning. Rule No.777 Of Anime: The Protaganist never loses, Untill they are killed. That counts as a loss.

but the guy yusei beat was an Embodiment of him that was returned to the present where he got amnesia

@bolded: what? i'm guessing you're referring to Antinomy,

- but as for the MAIN protagonist never loses thing....

jaden lost to kaibaman in episode 35 of season 1 of GX

yusei lost to jack in a flashback in episode 2

yugi lost to kaiba in season 1 on pegasus's castle

Yami Yuugi's only actual, legitimate losses, which did not happen due to things unrelated with the mechanics of the duel itself, were to Raphael and Yuugi himself. And even then you can say that the Orichalcos was polluting Yuugi's mind in the first of these.

jaden lost to kaibaman in episode 35 of season 1 of GX

Juudai lost to Ryo, Edo and Kaibaman at least, and supposedly to Yuugi as well, though that was left up to the viewer to determine (the result was pretty obvious though). Otherwise he has a clean record as far as I recall (can't say I cared very much as he was by far the lamest of the protagonists). He also has at least two legitimate ties in his record, his second duel against Ryo, and against Yubel using Johan as her host. Still he has the most losses out of the three, and that's one of the actually good points about him. Protagonists should lose sometimes.

yusei lost to jack in a flashback in episode 2

Flashbacks notwithstanding, Yuusei would have only lost once, to Kiryu, and that was interrupted =(. Lame.

Agreed. Making Halberd Cannon the cover card instead of the undeserving Junk Berserker will be honorable to Antimony.

I haven't actually seen the new episode yet, since I'm only episode 132, but I still think Antimony is going to come back at the end.

Anyway, I read this on TV Tropes:

"Additionally, the tenth anniversary book of the entire franchise says that Divine survived after being eaten alive by Ccarayhua and is now in jail."

Hurray! At least he's alive.

Wait, Divine is alive? Well, that would explain those new Psychics in EXVC

@Canadian - already working on it :D

[spoiler=Now, Canadian, DIE!]

EDIT: Damn, I forgot "missed" part. Oh well, it still makes sense at least

Yeah, now it essentially reads "You will be stoned."

Ah, screw this.

[spoiler=CARD GAMES ON MOTORCYCLES EPISODE 145]

*cue epic music*

AntiMONy: Yusei! Your future is sealed! This crazy card of mine will totally like bring you down!

Yusei: Like the Earthbound Gods would? Or the Machine Emperors? Or Machinicle? Or...

Antibruno: ALRIGHT I GET THE POINT.

Yusei: I summon this here monster. Even if it hasn't been summoned for like a season or two and is utterly worthless. Road Runner!

DarkGlass: Yes but this is the perfect monster to showcase Halberd Cannon's epic ability, summon negation! It's like a Solemn Warning on steroids! And yes I feel very good about myself wasting one of its three charges on such a useless monster.

Yusei: Oh well, in that case, I end my turn... WITH A FACE-DOWN CARD.

Brunomy: I'VE SEEN THAT BEFORE YUSEI, that face-down is the key to victory... so I will destroy it. Oh well it was a bluff. Battle!

Yusei: My true strategy is to weaken my Shooting Star Dragon so I can use this conveniently effective monster from my hand to protect it.

MysteriousDuelist: Yeah, yeah. Turn end.

Yusei: Alright now watch out! Power of the shining red scar on my arm, go! I activate this Swiss Knife monster, which has literally just about a dozen abilities, and they all happen to be extremely helpful in this situation to set up a direct attack OTK!

Vizor: Don't forget about Halberd Cannon's definitely-not-broken summon negation effect.

Yusei: YES BUT NOW IT'S TIME FOR EVEN MORE CRIMSON POWER!! ENDOH, LEND ME YOUR STRENGTH!! ... *silence* COME ON!! GIVE ME CLEAR MIND, MAN!!

Timothy: YOU CAN'T WIN THIS!! NOT WITHOUT THE INSERT SONG POWER!!

Yusei: Don't count on it! Here is my brilliant multi-layered strategy based upon the fact that I manage to draw the Riding Duel's equivalent of Pot of Greed twice in like five turns, and three extremely situational cards that have never and will never appear before! I SUICIDE MY SHOOTING STAR DRAGON INTO YOUR MONSTER SO THAT ITS ATTACK CAN BE DECREASED SO THAT INSTEAD OF ITS ATTACK BEING DECREASED I CAN DEAL DAMAGE TO YOU, ALL THE WHILE TAKING NO DAMAGE MYSELF!!

Bruno: You may have set yourself up nice there, but don't forget you have to draw at least 3 Tuners out of 5 monsters! Do you have any idea how unlikely that is?!

Yusei: ...

Antinomy: ...oh, screw it.

Yusei: EVEN THOUGH HALBERD CANNON ISN'T TECHNICALLY DESTROYED BY ANYTHING I DO I'LL STILL WIPE IT OUT WHILE I'M AT IT, YOU'RE OFF, BRUNOANTIMONYANTINOMYDARKGLASSVIZORTIMOTHYMYSTERIOUSDUELISTWHATSYOURNAMEANYWAY!!!

Antinomy: ...I'm surprised you haven't figured it out yet, Yusei...

Yusei: ???

Antinomy: *takes off glasses* I AM....................................

........MASAKI ENDOH!!!

Yusei: OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHH now I see. Hey bro. And by the way, you're such a bad friend, not letting me KUUUURIAAAA MAAAIINNDOOOO for a whole two episodes.

Masaki Endoh: Yeah, it was a test for your true abilities, Yusei. You have proven that you can win at card games even without an insert song. I am so proud of you...

Yusei: I'm sorry, I can't hear you over the sound of the BLACK HOLE KILLING YOU DEAD!!

Masaki Endoh: FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU -

Yusei: NEXT TIME ON YU-SEI-OH!! Masaki Endoh is now dead and won't be returning any time soon. Like the Dark Signers. And Rally. And Placido. And...

Viewers: ALRIGHT WE GET THE POINT.
