DISCLAIMER: Like many fan theories, this theory is convoluted, and draws comparisons and similarities where there were not intended to be any.

 

Jose's ME is probably going to be a giant whale.

 

The reasons I think this way are thus:

 

1) The three major parts of the earth: Land, Sea, and Sky. We already have land and sky covered by the MEs. The only terrain remaining is sea.

2) In the Dark Signer arc, we had 2 Dark Signers parallel to the 2 major Signers (Kiryu to Yusei and Carly to JACK) use Evil Boss Monsters in the forms of a man (Ccpac Apu) and a bird (Aslla Piscu). Then we have the third "major" signer (Crow) duel HIS parallel (Bommer) who uses a whale. As the first ME takes the form of a man, and the second takes the form of a bird, by this sequence, the third will take the form of a whale.

Cake, we haven't covered Land yet. Wisel represents wisdom, not land. "The skies above, the ground below, and all of Mankind between it." was something I heard on Janime the other day, and it makes sense. Plus, we see Jose's emperor outlined in the OP;

1) It doesn't look like a whale.

2) It comes out of the ground.

Jose's monster looks like a cyclops of sorts. Also, what Umbra said is supported by the fact that they changed the "Wisel" monster Attributes to Dark.

 

Why do you think Placido took Lucciano's cards? Was it because "Wisel Infinity" had no upgrades to his Carrier component? Or because Skiel Carrier 5 was best suited to defeating Savior Star Dragon (as with it he had two monsters that could protect against attacks, and Savior Star could only negate one of them)?

 

Wisel parts seem to be focused on battle, whereas Skiel parts instead go towards avoiding battle (Upgraded Wisel Attack deals piercing damage, upgraded Wisel Guard absorbs attacks, upgraded Wisel Top negates Traps that could stop it, whereas upgraded Skiel Attack enables direct attacks and upgraded Skiel Carrier prevents battles altogether and inflicts direct damage). I guess it's a build-your-own-Emperor kind of thing.

Your theory is great, but it has a giant hole, right through the middle of it. We have seen the silhouette of the 3rd ME, and it looks nothing like a whale.

I thought Wisel sounded kind of cool, and I liked Skiel a lot, especially with the way they pronounced it. But Granel? Meh. Also, that name's been going around for ages, I was just hoping it was a fake or something.

I'm not in much of a mood to, to be honest.

 

I will dislike watching Yusei's new SSj2 Fanfappar Dragon insta-kill one of my formerly favorite Yu-Gi-Oh! villains. The rest will be good, though.

• Yes, Placido goes out. Yusei topdecks worse than ever, revealing no less than five Tuners without a flashy Kyuseiryu-ish effect.

• Placido is split in half. O.o When they leave, Jose and Luciano bring his torso, Deck and sword with them. Also, Placido appears on the Our-Animation-Budget-Ran-Out still. I don't think we've seen the last of him yet.

• This episode features tons and tons of Sherry, Mizoguchi, Luciano and Jose awesomeness. Mizoguchi keeping a parachute in his duel disk was unexpected.

• Sherry fanservice.

• Jose's awesome enough to order a crashing meteor to stop like that. Plus, Granel / Grounel is intimidating.

• Do want subs badly.

If you look closely at the Machine Emperor's pieces, they look like animals of land, sea, and sky.

 

Skiel's A3 looks like a dragonfly and the Infinity piece looks like and owls head imo(notice the silver beak-looking thing below the infinity symbol at the center).

Wisel's Top looks like a cobra and T3 is a rabbit, both are land animals. The guard could be a shell.

Grannel's Attack looks like some fish i've seen before(cannot remember what it is called), the head is narrow and small, while the body is larger. http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Grannel_Attack

Before the end of the Mars Lighthouse, you come to a four-way split. You have to light 4 symbols with Blaze before going on to the aerie itself. Each path represents one of the four elements:

Fire: Dragon

Water: Fish

Wind: Bird

Earth: Man

 

A stretch as it is between series, I was going off the idea that man was the symbol of the earth. Obviously, I am incorrect, but that was the general idea.

Until Lucciano and Jose appeared the episode was terrible, the ending of the duel was pretty much one of the most terrible things in the history of Yu-Gi-Oh. Placido shouldn't have lost, not like that. It completely killed his character (a funny thing to say...), and I don't want him to just come back later after being fixed and lose again.
