This in turn means that the term "Signer Dragon" does not refer to those five Dragons that fought the Earthbound Gods. Though as at least 4 of the original 5 Dragons coincide perfectly with the 4 known pre-Crow Dragons used by the Signers, there was never a "change" or "replacement" of a Dragon in the past, which means Crow is the first and only so far known Signer to not use one of the original Signer Dragons, but a new one.

The Signers were called upon to defeat the Dark Signers, and reincarnated to defeat them again. If there hasn't been a Dark Signer uprising since that time fivethousand years ago, there's no reason for a Signer to have been replaced until now.

 

It sounds acceptable to me, but then again, whatever.

 

AND Power Tool is not the Fifth Dragon, and has never been.

Oh, come on. That'd be almost as ridiculous as card games being the reason for the universe's existence and a kid who has combined with a trading card defeating the ultimate evil of the world... in a card game.

 

Oh wait, that already happened.

 

On a side note, I watched the new episode. So apparently the whole Team Catastrophe subplot was some anticlimactic bullshit, Yliaster of course being behind it. Crow is obsessed with avenging Akiza... I wonder why. Placido and Luciano play comic superheroes by needlessly standing on a thin rail about 1000 feet above the ground when they could've watched the match from their TV (I guess they learned not to trust that with Dark Glass) or from a considerably more comfortable position. And we're about to see a new BF next week or so.

 

EDIT @Umbra: Yeah, just about my thoughts. Anyway. Power Tool Dragon apparently looks like a mechanical version of the fifth Dragon (though other than the fact that they're yellow and the fact that they're both shaped like a Dragon, whatever other similarity escapes me), so popular theories go by Power Tool being something like an upgraded / mechanically modified 5th Signer Dragon. I hope that doesn't happen.

Two things about the opening that bother me:

1: Here, we see a bunch of orange robots that appear directly after Diablo's nightmarish panning.

2: Here, in the background, there is a GIANT ROBOT DRAGON THING in the background. Not to mention PlacidoHair, but still - the big-possibly-evil-thing needs to be taken care of.

it is a head..... I would like to put my theory of a 4th machine empiror back on the table. I don't think the orange things are Machinas, mabye their some kinda new type of synchro. like how the dark signers had dark synchros. but if anything, I am liking that new intro.

The centerpiece is that being Sherry, Yusei, and Bruno encountered, likely implying that it's a third side overseeing the conflict.

 

Also, I think the new OP (Which has meh music) previewed the Accel Synchro versions of Stardust and RDA. So what, that makes three upgrades Aki and Ruka are missing now?

Both of them have shoulder spikes(Palparepa's are more like wings, but its close)

Both of them have cresent-shaped 'armor plates' around there arms.

Both of them have a green aura from the power of the Load G-Stone.

And I found this funny, Jose' outfit is White/Orange, Palparepa's mech is white, orange, and Purple. So what do you want to bet that Jose' machine is like a purple-ish color ;)

IF you ask me the new opening, the song too, is quite good. It doesn't seem to have that overly epic rock music but much more somehow inspirating voice. Masaaki Endoh knows how to do it >=D

 

It's the ending that doesn't inspire me... I liked the previous much more.

It seems the Team Catastrophe will not perhaps be so pro team or players in all like Tesm Unicorn, but it's the HKHook that makes them dangerous. The guys will have to fight 3 guys, all using it. It's gonna be dangerous. I think it's gonna be Crow or Jack that are gonna smash cause of it.

Dark Class must appear soon. Will it be Bruno or not, I'll split my wrist if he doesn't appear to play in the tournament. Last time I'd to do this was when FOR SOME D*** REASON Kiryu had to, well... f*** the whole season and NOT come with Yusei and pals. I just happened to be the main point of the whole arc and Kiryu went and screw everything up.

Nicholas of Team Catastrophe, has his Dark Monster "Hidden Knight -Hook-" attempt to crash Crow's D-Wheel by inflicting real damage. Crow pushes himself to the very limit by attempting to dodge. Is there really any way for him to destroy "Hidden Knight -Hook-"!?

 

Episode 106

Kanji: ゴースト氾濫！ 恐怖のバトル・ロイヤル・モード

Romaji: Goosuto Hanran! Kyoufu no Batoru Roiyaru Moodo

Translation: Ghost Flood! The Terrifying Battle Royale Mode

Airdate: 4/21/2010

Crow uses the effect of his "Blackwing - Blade Wing" to destroy "Hidden Knight -Hook-". With Team Catastrophe's win condition, which earned them all their victories via crashes up until this point, gone, Placido's strategy falls through. Placido removes Team Catastrophe [from the tournament?] and executes his next strategy.

 

Suddenly, at the grounds of the WRGP , the army of Ghost appears. To settle the chaos there, Yusei and the others go against the Ghost army. Seeing them do this, the D-Wheelers on the grounds of the WRGP enter a massive Battle Royale against the Ghosts. Yusei and the others, while attempting to stop the selfish behavior of the Ghosts, burst into the Battle Royale.......

 

Episode 107

Kanji: 覚醒！！ 揺るがなき境地 クリア・マインド

Romaji: Kakusei!! Yuruganaki Kyouchi Kuria Maindo

Translation: Wake Up!! Unwavering Standpoint - Clear Mind

Airdate: 4/28/2010

It was Placido, one of the Directors of the Public Security Maintenance Bureau, who was responsible for controlling the Ghost army known as "Diablo". It is Placido who blocks Yusei, challenge him to a duel. Though Yusei tries to stand up against him and fight back, it is said by the Masked Rider (a.k.a. Dark Glass), that if you do not use "Accel Synchro", you won't have a single chance of beating Placido. So while he fights, Yusei desperately tries to find the method to produce an Accel Synchro.

 

Episode 108

Kanji: 蘇る恐怖　機皇帝ワイゼル

Romaji: Yomigaru Kyoufu - Kikoutei Waizeru

Translation: The Revived Terror - Machine Emperor Wisel

Airdate: 5/5/2010

After making his own Accel Synchro, Yusei takes on Placido, aiming to win. He strengthens his defenses to survive the onslaught from Placido and his Machine Emperor. Finally, he goes on the offensive, and fights with Accel Synchro.
