Episode 84:

The Other Jack

Yusei and Crow have learned through Carly's reporting that there have been two of Jack's D-Wheel and learn there is a fake Jack running around, so they go to the scene of the crime to look for the real Jack. Crow finds Jack's card at a rockface on the edge of the beach and, thinking Jack has sunk into the sea, wails in lament. Yusei gets a call from Carly and finds out that Jack has sprung up again on the highway. And, in front of Yusei ad the others, as they go to where the action is at, is..

 

Episode 85:

Cuckoo Time Grandfather Clock

Zola has been in front of Yusei and company's garage. However, the always cheerful Zola isn't in such high spirits. Worried, Yusei asks what's troubling Zola and he hears that the town committee has decided that they will be replacing the cuckoo clock that Zola has cherished. That is when a man appears in front of Yusei and company's garage: That person being none other than Zola's son, Leo. Leo set out three years ago to study on clocks and has returned to repair the broken cuckoo clock. Leo has come back to Zola to fix the clock, but he gets turned away.

 

Episode 86:

Crashtown

A letter comes to Yusei's place. The letter asks for his help in saving his good friend, Kyosuke Kiryu. Immediately, Yusei heads to the town Kiryu is staying. There, in the town ruled by dueling, Yusei sees Kiryu completely defeating his opponent. Yusei tries calling out to Kiryu, but...

 

 

Episode 87:

12/2/09

Rescue Kiryu! The Town of Wandering Duelists (12/2)

Yusei came to bring Kiryu back, but he dared to be on the side of the guy opposing Kiryu (the main gist; not so sure I translated it right). And then, opposing Kiryu, Yusei tries to tell him that he came to help him. However, all Kiryu gives him is a cold reply. Thus, a duel begins between Yusei and Kiryu.

 

 

 

Episode 88:

12/09/2009

The Trap Laid in Front of Victory

Yusei and Kiryu continue their duel. Kiryu has wanted to be freed from dueling by losing to Yusei. However, Kiryu, unable to betray the duel, summons Infernity Death Dragon and makes his move on Yusei. However, Yusei summons Stardust Dragon to oppose Kiryu. And then, Yusei declares to Kiryu, "I am going to save you!"

 

 

 

My favorite character is back.

Wait, Kiryu still has Infernities? Didn't Dark Sig(h)ners lose their decks when they turn back to normal? (eg. Dick Pitt)

 

Or maybe that's just Rudger's victims.

 

I don't understand the purpose of 85. It's not like we're running out of plot right now, with Diablo having been unleashed and Jose not having a Kikoutei yet.

Yin, it sounds more like Kiryu is evil. Again. And needs to be saved by Yusei. Again. (Though, this whole "saving" business seems to be requested by someone else - or planted, maybe?)

 

It doesn't sound like Jack and Crow are tagging along.
