CrabHelmet
Solemn Judgment cannot be used directly against this card. It can be used to negate the effect of Buster Mode, which in turn will stop this card from being Special Summoned. However, it can not be used to stop this card from Special Summoning itself via its own effect during the End Phase.
Dad
Ouch. I love this card and hate it at the same time. Eesh, with the arrial of Busters Solemn will probably HAVE to be ran. >.< ~Xemnas
Phantom Roxas
With luck, maybe the price of Solem will even drop.

Or at least as close to "staple" as any card in the game is ever likely to get?

KurashiDragon
I think it's ok. Pretty much the only thing that's changed is the fact that it's not a syncro monster anymore. Of course the attack and defense changed to.

werewolfjedi
so, it seems to me that buster mode may get banned if all these buster mode monsters are so powerful and people get them working right, i mean, field clearing, all counter, what do the others do? "shudder" this might just throw the meta in chaos if any buster mode deck works reliably. or it might just make the triangle of DAD zombies and GB become a square with this as the fourth. All /Busters are are the first good attempt by Konami at making balanced boss cards.
TotalObelisk
Considering nobody is going to be stupid enough to try and destroy a synchro monster while their opponent has a very suspicious face down I don't think so either, Buster Mode is the only way to summon a /Buster monster and since you're limited to 3 (for now), I doubt it's going to get banned/limited anytime soon... CrabHelmet
Deathkaiser Dragon/Buster is the only good Buster, but since this is the second-best, you could run it as well to make the Buster Draw 2 card worthwhile. Or, on second thoughts, no.
Guest PikaPerson01
I'm having a few difficulties breathing due to having a cold, but is my brain so deprived of oxygen that I can't see what's up with the insane hype of a bunch of nomis recently? The only one really even worth the hype is Death Kaiser... No easier to SS then the Synchro Summon of Stardust Dragon, followed immediately by tripping Buster Mode. Hope you don't draw into /Buster while you duel, and hope you draw into Buster Mode when you need it. And even then, it's only slightly more powerful then Stardust, a few extra points, and a few less limitation of what it can negate. Why the BFD? Tickle Me Emo
its good, its very good but its also very counterable (however as everyone says counterability doesnt change playability). question. Does this stop D.D. Crow, whos effect activates in the graveyard and thus cannot be destroyed and the word "and" without a can means both the effect must be negates AND the monster must be destroyed. Or am I just completely wrong and it can counter crow?
CrabHelmet
(however as everyone says counterability doesnt change playability) Counterability is highly relevant to playability. There's a reason that non-chainable Traps aren't very playable, and Magic Drain would be significantly better if the opponent couldn't counter it with any Spell Card in their hand.
