you forgot to mention lyla can use priority.

 

You can, but it won't have much effect since switching her to def mode is not a cost, so she needs to be face-up on the field to resolve, because she can't change to def mode otherwise.

 

 

Also, can anyone link me to the ruling reversal that you can now declare prior on Breaker?
