Luna Lovegood
YCM is a nice site. The member welcome newbs [sometimes]. But sometimes I wonder if this site isn't spiraling downhill. I mean, the card maker is behind, and the forums are getting spammy and cluttered. RP has been invaded by newbish and spammy members. Any Other cards is for newbs now. I am afraid to enter. Realistic cards kinda sucks. Contests are going down in quality. Its hard to find a shop with whatever you want. Requests is full of bad request filling. Most of this could be fixed with 1 simple thing: New mods/rules.
Bloodrun
Ok, explain to me how adding more people and more rules would help? Lets start with Rules.More Rules? If you say people are already spamming, how is more rules gonna help? obviously they're not following the set rules, so add more they're bound to follow them? I mean, if its that much of a problem, go blind, then you'll have nothing to complain about.
Luna Lovegood
Ok... Thats, um, ell, interesting advice. Maybe I should've said Harsher Punishment
J-Max
This is one of he main reasons I sometimes feel miserable about my Modding situation. The Mod Team is working most of the time to make this site a better place for everyone, sure it isn't 100% but we try! It isn't 14/10 by the way yet..... New M0ds? YCM just got some new Mods. New Rules? There is always new Rules being introduced.
Luna Lovegood
Ok. Thanks, but I really think we need more responsible [mod] members.

moneypony
well,i say they remove earning points and posts from introduction because most people would just post there to earn posts and points but not actully welcome the member.YCMaker is working on the maker, hopefully, but he has a life too.perhaps they should RP-section ban people who aren't good RPers?i don't really even know what that section is for,it's mainly just broken, slightly OPed,and noobs who post joke cards.contests are also filled with many people saying "Entry Reserved." even though there are ulimited amount of people that can enter and it's going quite out of quality and people are just earning reps but they are not really into it these days.the shops have mostly set prices but you can't order anything you want, like you said, and i don't like requesting since people will most likely mess it up and tell me to give them 10+ points for doing my order wrong.rules and mods can't really fix card maker or the quality of contests so perhaps YCMaker should give a reward to whoever can update the card maker with all it's missing things,i am pretty sure there is one expert coder in here, hopefully. J-Max
Not Responsible? Pfft. If we were not responsible we would never Mod the sections we are asked to, we would also Abuse our Powers to the extreme. Alrighty, Who would make good Mods instead of us then? If I hear the words "Draco Straybym" I will officially Kill you.

Brushfire
Bloodrun has a very fair point, lol. Also, this place is for comments on the site, so what he says is his opinion on the site. =/ (not directed at anyone in particular)Also, Draco Straybyrn. XD, nah, I'm kidding.I don't think there is much that can be done accept perhaps work the Mods a little harder and offer harsher punishments. =/
CinnamonStar
There will always be ups and downs. Ok' date=' explain to me how adding more people and more rules would help? Lets start with Rules.More Rules? If you say people are already spamming, how is more rules gonna help? obviously they're not following the set rules, so add more they're bound to follow them?[/quote'] I agree with Bloodrun here. The thing is, almost all the mods have decided to enforce the rules respectively add special ones in their section, but no matter how good they are, what if the members still aren't willing to follow them? The only things we can do about it is giving out harsher punishments, a process which has already started in General.
SebastiaanZ
Well not more rules, since we have plenty and spammers and newbish comments won't stop with them. More mods is not necessary as well, I think, since YCM just had new ones. You could make a certain team with members, that have contributed to the site, who rank one level below the moderating team and have some more power then regular members. On my newest own forum, I have for once a "Board of Directing Members" (I know, name sucks) who are just one step below the moderating team and have limited power.
