Custom Gimp brushes and installing them

hello I just thought it would be nice for everyone to know how to make there very own gimp brush!!!

reps are exepted for this tut

 

1.open up gimp

2.make a design of your choice heres mine 2crwsr5.png

3.Go to file>save as

4.when it say save name your brush like the scrible and save it as a GBR

 

Like this scrible.GBR then press save your done

 

5. now its time to get your brush on gimp

6. go to MY computer>local disk>program files>gimp

7.share>brushes go to your brush file copy and paist it under brushes

8.Horray your done!!!!!!!!1

 

oh yeah rendering your brush is simple Go to colors>colr to alpha

umm' date='there is a tut on GIMPtalk on how to make professional ones and how to install them is there too.and if you do that,you will just brush that whole picture all over the picture,you need to render it so you won't have chunks of white blocks around the brushed area.

Oh I just am good with computers and found that out my self and I wanted everyone to know not everyone knows about that web site

but you are still missing some details and i highly suggest you tell them that they should render the brush design before saving unless they want white blocks around it,i also recommend you tell them about the tut on GIMPtalk since it shows you how to make it multi-colorable and make ones like spark brushes which makes it have a different thing pop in every time.
