Help on Paint.NET

Recommended Posts

Hello Alph,

Actually I'm working with Photoshop but I worked with paint.NET before. The best free one for my opinion.

If you want a Signature like you have already in your sig, I can give you a little help.

Do you know how to work with layers? Thats important. I dont know your experience with paint.NET or programms like that, but normally it's very easy so I guess you are new to that.....

well.... the easiest thing you can do is to find a cool background on google. If you found one, you can recolor it on "adjustments" like making it darker/bright or different colors. Now you should take the picture of a monster or whatever and combine it with your background. Open the backround you want to have and just drag&drop the monster/soldier whatever to the background. Now you need to work on the layers. On the bottom at the "Layer" section you can set the opacity of the image you drag&dropped to you background.

If that dont looks like you imagined I could make you a signature if you want...

But I think you can do that. Between, on youtube are a lot of introductions how to work with layers or fusing 2 pictures...

I hope I could help you...and hey, if you want I can make you 1 signature. Just pm me the pictures and say how you want to have it. :)

Cool thanks...:)

I will help you, if you have questions. If you want, I can do a tutorial for you with images to show you how to make a good fusion of a background and an other image. It's total easy. PM me if you need more introductions. I will help you alltime :)

Thanks. . .But Leanbow helped me first and that tut is complicated for me.

Fusing a background with a render is NOT making a sig. Just keep trying that tut until you get a decent result.

A better idea would be to get GIMPshop. It's free (better than P.N), and you can use most Photoshop & GIMP tutorials in it. If you do I could find you some tutorials and post them in this thread and help you in a week or so on MSN/AIM/YIM/ICQ ^.^

Well, Alph seems to be new to work with programms like that. And fusing a background with a render is the first step to make a signature. Once he learned to do that, he will try to find new tecniques to improve his results. Between, here are so nice people, if Alph has any questions, we are here to help.

GIMPSHOP IS NOT MORE DIFFICULT THAN PAINT.NET.

Now that I've got your massive flaw out of the way, I'll point out your OTHER massive flaws.

Fusing a background with a render will probably get him laughed at. Stock sigs are NOT for beginners. A simple brush or filter sig is usually a good starting point. Also, getting GIMPshop means I can actually help him with the directness of the program rather than 3rd party tutorials. Plus, IT IS BETTER.

And I'm trying to help him. When he said "help making a sig", I assumed he was willing to put some learning into it.

Calm down......This thread is about paint.NET and not GIMP. I just listed some basics of paint.NET and of course I know that GIMP is much better. He hasn't replied yet. If he wants to learn something about GIMP he can ask you then. I'm here to help him on paint.NET.

I do believe you started the debate. I was merely stating it as a better alternative.

I need help making sigs on Piant.NET. Anyone who helps me in detail' date=' or gives me a tut[/b']

I just listed some basics of paint.NET and

Basics =/= Detail or Tut

of course I know that GIMPshop is much better.

Then why not back me up in advising him to get GIMPshop? It's freeware, so I can't see any reason why he can't use it. :D
