More info

Latios and Latias are not hard to avoid.

Waluigi is a very effective AT.

Metagross: We had heard his attack was earthquake, but now we have more details on it. He stomps the ground once and everyone on it gets stuck (similar to DK's forward soecial). He stomps again and sends everyone flying (those IN and ON the ground). He does this about three times.

Curbside: "I'm almost positive I saw Fox's gun explode if you overuse it, similar to Diddy's."

Pokemon trainer:

When a Pokemon is KO'd, the glowing platform comes down as usual, but Pokemon Trainer throws a Pokeball on top of it. The next Pokemon in order starts out on the new life. So if you get KO'd as Squirtle, your next life starts out as Ivysaur, and so on.

More confirmation of a GB-colored Pokemon Trainer. This time we learn that his Pokemon take the appearance as well. Other PT colors include a Brown/Tan costume, a White/Red costume, a blue costume, and a green with dark green costume.

Victory Poses: Puts his arms aorund Ivysaur and rubs his head. Ivysaur looks happy. Hugs Squirtle. Squirtle looks basful.

Defeat Pose: Hangs his head in shame and face palms himself. The Pokemon claps for him.

The announcer says the name of the winning Pokemon, not "Pokemon Trainer".

Charizard:

Forward Air: Wing Attack.

A,A,A: Claw, Claw, Wing Attack.

Up Special can be continued and hit multiple times. (I assume it can have a few extra spins from only ONE use)

Up Smash: An upward headbutt.

Forward Smash: Massive Knockback.

Has a completely red color.

Squirtle:

Neutral Air: Withdraws into his shell and watr sprinkles out.

When you get knocked on the ground (like if you miss a tech and just lie on the ground for a minute), he will lie on his shell and wiggle his arms and legs until he can get back up.

Ivysaur:

Dash Attack: A running headbutt.

King Dedede:

Colors: Pink w/ light pink trim. Purple w/ blue trim. Has GB colors (gray/white and that off-green color).

Victory Pose: He's sitting with a Waddle Dee and rubs his belly happily.

His inhale can suck up items, just like Kirby. He was seen sucking up a Capsule and possibly a Star Rod.

Dash attack is his trip attack.

Forward Smash is him holding the hammer above his head and bringing it down with great force.

Down Smash: Spins around holding the hammer low to the ground.

Forward Tilt: Spins the hammer around multiple times.

Wario:

Entrance: He comes in on his bike, it crashes and he dusts himself off. (Like the original trainer)

Defeat Pose: Claps quickly and yells as if he's making some sort of gesture to the winner.

His Corkscrew hits multiple times and sucks the perosn in (think Young Link's Spin Attack). It's not very powerful

His Bike hits multiple times.

Victory Pose: Him laughing a lot (We now know all three victory poses for him).

Wario Man lasted about 20 seconds. It's true, if you use the Bike, you go flying right off. If you're KO'd, you lose your FS.

Kirby:

His Hammer Special was changed. On the ground: It's the same with more power. In the air: it no longer spins around like in Melee, now it acts the same way as it if was on the ground.

Forward Air: Still the triple kick. The last kick has good knockback.

All attacks just seem imroved overall from Melee.

Damn you delay!

Next update=character?

Prediction for week: 2 characters (1 character and 1 special moves or FS), 1 how-to-play, 1 game mode, 1 music (mario, TAG :P), and 1 stage

Even though the game has been delayed again (And after my birthday, too, dammit!!), I have a feeling that, even in this short stretch of 2 months before the game is released to the mass market, 2 new characters entering the game, let alone 1, however, Nintendo may get 1 last character into the game before they're done making it.

*Sigh*, now it's only a matter of time on who the lucky chump(s) is/are going to be.

Two characters sounds like a stretch. Maybe one more within the next two weeks.

weill' date=' I should rephase what I said. 2 character updates (1 character and 1 special moves or FS).

If you are talking about what I said, see above.

And nothing new will be added. the delay is only a week in Japan (1/31) and nothing can be done in such a short time.

Update time. and i called it, it was a character update. Zelda's FS-Light Arrow

zelda_080121b.jpg

the attack can be used as both Sheik and Zelda. Some of the characteristics of the attack will change, like the direction your opponent gets knocked in, but over all it doesn't really matter.

zelda_080121e-l.jpg

The arrow it's self is very stong and if you hit your opponent they are as good as dead. But it can be hard to hit with in 1 vs 1 brawls.

Anther thing about the arrow. It pierces though the opponent's shield so you have to get out of the way or you will fall to your doom

Ouch, so when that arrow hits, it just sends your opponents flying? That could be hard to do in a level like Temple. Since it's so large, and since not everybody is going to be on the top, pull of that FS somewhere else down below the temple, it'll just send your opponents all over bouncing off the walls.

By the way, does the arrow bounce of walls, and can it be stopped of effected by any other types of weapons?

Plus, since you said your victim will fly inwards sometimes, if it does, if it hits you, will you get hit hard too, or not at all?

I don't think it can bounce off walls but I know it can't be stopped

I don't think it will hit you. And more news. Ness, Lucario, and Jigglypuff are Confirmed. See for yourself.

Lucario and Jigglypuff.

hey guys, go to this site. I think they might be hinting something.

http://wii.ign.com/articles/809/809868p1.html

I think Ganondorf might make a return. What do u think?

Also, I hear the reason why they pushed the game back is that they are having trouble with the wi-fi. its not working rite, thats what i heard anyway. cant wait for all three characters now. Lucario, SWEET!!!

I don't think so. From what I can tell they just think Ganondorf will return.

But let me give you my spin on the Ganondorf thing.

A) Ganondorf will return, it's just that simple.

B) We know this because the creater of the Zelda games said that he sent models of Link, Sheik, and Ganondorf to Sakurai.

C) How he returns is still up in the air for us. But odd are playable.

If you remember about a week ago I posted the Famitsu Brawl review. I, like 99% of the rest of the people here have no idea what that was. So let me tell you about what I found.

Famitsu is a Japanese gaming magazine. It is the most popular gaming magazine in Japan and has been around for a long time. It is respected by the community and they can move games based on their scores. Only 7 games have ever gotten a perfect score (not counting Brawl). Only 1 game per console gets a perfect score. To get a perfect score it's either really good or if it's really innovative for that type of game. This truly means a lot. And this game will be 1 of the best games ever made.

More info. The Japanese delay. do you want to know what caused this. It was puched back a week because they need to have more games ready for shipment.

1)Considering the Sheik model has been used, i'm pretty sure it will be a PC.

2)Actually, i was wrong. the seven games did include brawl. they are:

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (1998, Nintendo, for Nintendo 64)

Soulcalibur (1999, Namco, for Dreamcast)

Vagrant Story (2000, Square Co., Ltd., for PlayStation)

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (2003, Nintendo for Nintendo GameCube)

Nintendogs (2005, Nintendo, for Nintendo DS)

Final Fantasy XII (2006, Square Enix, for PlayStation 2)

Super Smash Bros. Brawl (2008, Nintendo, for Wii)

These next games got a 39/40:

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (1991, Nintendo, for Super Famicom)

Virtua Fighter 2 (1995, Sega, for Sega Saturn)

Ridge Racer Revolution (1995, Namco, for PlayStation)

Super Mario 64 (1996, Nintendo, for Nintendo 64)

Tekken 3 (1998, Namco, for PlayStation)

Cyber Troopers Virtual On Oratorio Tangram (1999, Sega, for Dreamcast)

Final Fantasy X (2001, Square Co., Ltd., for PlayStation 2)

Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec (2001, Sony Computer Entertainment, for PlayStation 2)

Resident Evil (2002, Capcom, for Nintendo GameCube)

Dragon Quest VIII (2004, Square Enix, for PlayStation 2)

Gran Turismo 4 (2004, Sony Computer Entertainment, for PlayStation 2)

Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence (2005, Konami, for PlayStation 2)

Dead or Alive 4 (2005, Tecmo, for Xbox 360)

Kingdom Hearts II (2006, Square Enix and Buena Vista Games, for PlayStation 2)

Ōkami (2006, Capcom, for PlayStation 2)

The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (2007, Nintendo, for Nintendo DS)
