hhmm.. i got a few more.

 

1 Torterra: Uses Leaf Storm and damages everyone. (Except User)

2. Camerupt: Uses Eruption and damages everyone (Except User)

3. Regirock: Uses Rock Slide and Damages the opponent alot

4. Regice: Uses Icebeam and freezes opponent.

5. Registeel: Grabs opponent and uses Metal Claw.

6. Regigigas: Uses Superpower and Does alot of damage to your opponent.

Mon - What did you think was the best and worse update of the year?

Tue - Of the Characters we have right now, who do you plan on maining? Who were your mains in Melee.

Wed - What would your deam character list be? So what franchise do you think it will be number 19.

Thu - How good were you in Melee. Like could you beat lv 9 computers How many of the trophies did you get in Melee. Do you like to use items and do you plan to use items in Brawl

Fri-What will the next update be? And, I've been asking questions all week, but now you can ask your own questions.

For Thursdays question: I was okay in melee maybe a little bit better then average. Yes i could beat level 9 computers. I got an insane amount of trophies in melee, then my file was erased. Then we got everything back, and it was erased again. Now we finally have all characters back and a lot of trophies. I liked using items and i can't wait to use the new items in Brawl.

Fixed your post :P. In realitiy Ridley has 1 of the best shots at being in. In Sakurai's Character Poll Ridley was on of the highest voted for characters' date=' and since most of ther other highly voted characters are in he was a good shot.

 

I like reporting intresting things I find while I reading up on smash and this is ver intresting. I'm copying it word for word what the other person said

Okay, first of all let's get a few things straight. I don't work for Nintendo. I don't test games. I don't work for Prima, and my uncle isn't related to Sakurai. Anyone who tells you anything like that is full of crap.

 

What I can tell you is that I have sources. I'm not a source, I simply know them because I work for a reliable video game website. I'm in contact with various people from various companies, and there are always some people are are willing to reveal some info. Because of that, my information is obviously limited to what my source tells me. Therefore, I cannot tell you the full roster, because I don't know it. I know most of it, but there is some information that sources simply cannot reveal due to possible lawsuits. In other words, I probably won't know the third party character(if any), though I can deconfirm a few.

 

 

So who is my source? What is my website? That I cannot reveal, neither before nor after this information is proven true. You all should know this, but it seems that many people across the internet seem to think that we can simply reveal all of this without getting in trouble. That's not true. And even if I DID reveal my source...Tom Smith from a Nintendo division in Virginia, for example...you wouldn't believe me anyways, because no one knows who Tom Smith is. So the bottom line is, sources wouldn't convince anyone anyways.

 

 

I also realize this will largely be attacked, because there are plenty of people online making fake lists. I understand that, and I am simply revealing this for the select few who may choose to believe it...to a point, at least. For everyone else, I really don't care if you believe me. So flame away, because I'm not here to defend myself for hours.

 

One other note, I'll be updating this once per day at most, perhaps once every few days. Reason being, I'm not going to risk Nintendo or someone else logging my home or work IP, so I'll only post this when I'm somewhere like a friend's house or a library. In other words, don't expect me to update every 10 minutes. It won't happen. I'll update when I'm able to update, but I won't go out of my way to post info that 99% of you will bash.

 

 

To start things off...I won't reveal any new characters. Or even ATs. Instead, I will simply dispel some of the silly rumors out there:

 

 

Ridley is NOT a part of level. Take that as you will.

 

There are no Square Enix or Rareware characters. I am 100% sure there is no one from Rare(and honestly, you're crazy to think there ever could have been), and to my knowledge Square has no characters...while I haven't HEARD there isn't one, I will say it's highly unlikely. The two companies aren't on as good of terms as some people think they are. It's not a Sega-Nintendo relationship.

 

Bowser Jr. is not playable.

 

Krystal is not playable. Falco will not return.

 

Plusle and Minun are not playable, nor are they ATs, to my knowledge. The latter is not confirmed, though the former I can confirm.

 

Sonic is the only Sega character that is playable.

 

MegaMan is not playable.

 

Bomberman is not playable.

 

The latest rumor, regarding the Dragoon Parts, is partially true. It's my opinion that the person who revealed such information DOES have a reliable source, but has chosen to throw in false facts with truth. Either that, or he just got lucky, but the Dragoon item would be a very very lucky guess.

 

The other rumor, with Knuckles being playable, Sylux playable, that random ninja character, and others is false. There is a little bit of truth to it(obviously guesses), but overall it's false.

 

 

In my next update, I'll reveal a returning character. It'll make many people doubt, but oh well. Believe it or don't, I'm only posting this for the few who will.

Well, before I start, I'd like to admit that I lied. I lied when I said I wouldn't respond to any complaints or posts, because some of these are just priceless and I can't resist. I'll also answer a couple actual, legit questions below:

 

"Why's his post count 0?"

 

Well, we have two options here. Either A. I'm a VIP/well known user here(the correct option), or B. I've never posted here before. Obviously if it were B, I'd need to make a new account. Since it's A, though, I'll explain this in simplistic terms. People would know who I was if I posted under my normal account. Simple. Thus, I had to make a new username. You think anyone would be idiotic enough to post under the account that hundreds of people would recognize? I think not.

 

" why are you risking your job to tell a bunch of nerds about a game?"

 

Because I'm a nerd, too. That, and I'm not risking my job at all. Posting from libraries and friend's computers means I can't be tracked, period.

At least this is a legit question. On Gamefaqs, I believe, someone claimed to leak information. They alleged that Ridley was not playable, or a boss, but a part of a level. Similar to King Bulbin in the Bridge of Eldin level. That is false.

 

"You pretty much killed it with this. At least one of them HAS to be playable, I seriously doubt Star Fox would be represented by Fox and Wolf."

 

Right, and there's NO way that Dr. Mario and Pichu will be playable in Melee. Except that they were. These rosters never make sense, you should know that by now.

Okay, let's just say my source is a guy named David Hakura. He works in the marketing division at Nintendo of America, and he told me everything I know. What would that prove? Nothing. First of all, no one would know who David is. Second of all, no one would know if he had told me anything. So all I would accomplish by revealing my source is losing my job, him losing his job, and a possible lawsuit...all while proving absolutely nothing. If you think anyone will ever reveal their sources, you're insane.

Now then:

 

Wolf is playable. I didn't want to reveal this, but since all of you had a heart attack about no Krystal or Falco, I pretty much had to. This really isn't that hard to figure out, people. Krystal is not that big of a Star Fox character. She's only been around in the 3D gen, and the games she starred in aren't exactly loved by most Star Fox fanatics. She's like the Shadow of Sonic games, albeit much less annoying. Falco is a Fox clone...which would mean he'd need a new moveset. What kind of moveset would he be given? It makes much more sense to "replace" him with Wolf, which is exactly what happened. By the way, Wolf operates very different from Fox. He's...somewhat ninja like in his movements. He uses melee weapons rather than projectiles like Fox does.

 

As for a few more rumors that need to be debunked:

 

Krystal is playable because she's on IMDB! Except not. She's an AT. And with that being said, IMDB can be edited, just like Wikipedia. Granted, it takes a few days for information to grow through, but it's still not a reliable source. 50 Cent as Epona is really all that needs to be said here.

 

And that leads me to the next point...Leon Kennedy. He's showed up on IMDB as well. While I can't de-confirm him, I can say that my source has heard nothing about him, and you can't take IMDB's word for it. Anyone could have edited that in.

 

No Square Enix means no Geno. That's false, because Nintendo still owns some of the rights to the character. I'm not saying he's in or out, I'm simply saying he doesn't count as a third party character.

 

Finally...the returning character is Ness. I figured I'd just skip to step 5 and really piss people off, because that's exactly what this will do. Many people have decided in their minds that Ness cannot possibly return. All I ask is that you remember Melee, because the same thing happened with characters like Young Link and Pichu. No one thought they could be in, but they were. And yes, I know what the Dojo said...and if you haven't figured out by now that Sakurai likes to play mind games with fans, there's no hope. Ness is in, and his moveset is different. I assume the reason for this is that his old moveset was originally meant for Lucas. Anyways, his movement is the same and he still has PK Thunder, but his other attacks are quite different. His Up+B is a pillar of fire...think Pikachu's down+B, except that it won't end up behind him if he's traveling laterally through the air. His Over+B is...some sort of energy attack that he throws. It looks similar to PSI magnet, but yellow...unfortunately that's the best I can desribe it. Finally, his down B causes him to crouch, and he surrounds himself with energy and launches himself as a projectile. Similar to Sonic's attacks, I guess. That's all I've been told, unfortunately.

 

Next time, if there's still anyone left who cares, I'll reveal a new character, item, and AT.

 

 

 

I think the next update will be a Character, How to Play, Game Modes, Stages, Items, or Music update :P.

 

Jokes aside I say Character update to be the first update of the year. If not that a A, Pok, or, more liely, a How to Play update.

Well, for starters I'd like to say that the reason I haven't posted in a day or so is the NFL playoffs. But since the Titans have little to no chance of victory, I've decided to post now

 

Also, there was a great deal of questioning about Ness' moveset, which is obviously my fault for not proofreading. csaskater figured it out, though:

 

"EDIT: I just read back over what he said on Ness. He said he still has PK Thunder and that his ^B,B, and vB have changed. Note he said nothing of his standard B. PK Thunder could be moved to Ness' standard B."

 

Well, almost. PK Thunder is still Up+B, and the pillar of fire attack is regular B. I really don't know what I was thinking when I posted it; all I can guess is that I thought about the fire going up, and thus I absent-mindedly said it was Up+B. Sorry about the confusion.

 

Also, in regards to that moveset and any OTHER future moveset, I have not seen or played Brawl. As I said before, I simply have a source, so blame him/her for any lack of detail you may find.

 

Now, to answer a few questions/complaints:

I simply meant that Ness was the returning veteran. I didn't mean he was the only one returning. As for Sheik, she's basically already been confirmed so I'll go ahead and reveal that one. Sheik is, indeed, back.

 

"Can your insider source tell us what will be updated on the dojo on monday?"

 

Nope. Doesn't Sakurai himself post the updates? If not him, surely it's someone close to him in Japan, whereas my source is here in America.

 

"1. Why does Wolf use melee weapons? In fact, what type of melee weapons are we talking about? Melee weapons as in a staff? What? Can you elaborate a bit? "

 

Why does Fox use guns? If I remember correctly, the only weapons he's used in non-flier games are melee weapons as well. Fox never had a moveset since he was always a pilot before SSB, so they completely invented a moveset for him, too. As for the type of weapon, I don't know. All my source told me is melee weapons, but I'll be able to contact him in a couple weeks so perhaps I'll know then.

 

"THERE IS NO F#$%%$ WAY YOU CAN GET A LAWSUIT FOR REVEALING CHARACTERS, STAGES, ITEMS, ETC."

 

If that was the case, the entire roster would have been on the internet months ago. You obviously don't know a whole lot about this subject, so I'll simply tell you to look up the posts by Other Steve a few years ago. He revealed information, and it was ALL correct, but he refused to give his source.

Because it seems like you were told all this info (last line of that paragraph and in the first post) yet you talk about the looks of Ness's moves, but not the offical names. That is hardly credible. I still don't believe it, not just because of this. It reeks of verthinking."

 

No, I have neither seen nor played the game. Thus, I will likely never know official attack names.

 

 

Sorry if I missed any other questions. Before I reveal a couple ATs, I'd like to say that I won't know of any ATs unless I specifically asked about a character and was informed they were, indeed, an AT. So don't ask me, because I likely won't know. Anyways, here are a few new ATs:

 

Raiden

Pokemon Snap(the trainer, plus his vehicle)

Tails

 

And finally, the new character...Lucario. This one should have been pretty obvious. He's the most popular Pokemon from the new generation, and he's also been hinted at by various reliable sources. There was a rumor regarding Lucario replacing Mewtwo...it's part true, part false. Mewtwo is not playable, but in no way does Lucario "replace" Mewtwo in terms of his moveset. Lucario is much faster and agile, and more physical. I guess he plays somewhat like Fox, although his special moves are much different. His Up+B is similar to Mario's, probably Sky Uppercut. His B move is probably called Aura Sphere. He charges it, very similar to Mewtwo's Shadow Ball(perhaps the reason for the replacement claims?). Over+B is Extremespeed, a little weaker than Fox's but doesn't have as much delay. Down+B is Reversal, I'd assume. He defends himself, blocking some melee attacks and repelling projectiles incredibly fast. His regular attacks are much more physical. I've been told he's very powerful and quick, but can't take many hits. Of course, that is just my source's opinion.

 

Next update, I'll probably reveal another AT and newcomer. I just haven't decided who yet.

If this is true I'm sad for Bowser JR and Megaman

 

I don't trust him fully because it was never said clones were gone.

So back to updates are back and what do we get.

 

The 1 update I didn't see coming another stage. Or maybe I should say 5 stages.

All the stages are Melee stages and look to be the same and play the same as they did in Melee, so I'll just say what they are and what I think of them

Yoshi’s Island

I thought this was a bad way to start thinks off. I never liked this stages that much and almost never played in Melee, so the same will be true for Brawl, for me.

Corneria

This was better, but was very likely. If you listen to the music when Fox has confirmed it was this stage's music. I really liked this stage back in Melee and the same is true now. Can't wait to play this in Brawl

Again a stage I really didn't like back in Melee. I again, rarely played it and the same will still be true. Why couldn't it be Fourside :(? I liked that one.

Brinstar

I only started to play this stage more in Melee so I don't know what I'll do with it in Brawl, but odds are I'll play this a bit, but less than the other new Metroid stages.

Rainbow Ride

Again, what the hell. Give me Pokémon Stadium 1, not another stage I'll never play. Again (as you can see) I never played this stage in Melee and never will play it in Brawl.

 

I'll also continue to ask questions based on the updates, so for this update

So what other stages froms Smash and Melee do you want to see come back, and what stages don't you want to see come back?

Saffron City

Pokémon Stadium 1

Dream Land (N64)

 

Never to return:

Icicle Mountain (I'll flip if this is back)

 

 

And some more info for Brawl. WarioWare's miny games give you some health if you sucseed at them.

I have a good idea for a stage, but i dont think they could do it..lol

 

here goes. Mushroom Kindom. Level 2-1 Instead of the characters being 3-d, They could be Pixalated. LOL

I didn't think that will happen but it would be cool to have all the characters fight all pixalated.
