AzureTwilight
First off, hi, I'm new here. Nice to meet you all. :3 To the point though, I've been looking through the site, and it has a lot of amazing things; though I've been wondering about the part that comes after digitally making the card. Like, I know you have to go to some place to get it printed out, but what do you do from there? How does one get from that print-out point, to having the actual card where it looks and feels like a real Duel Monsters card? Like, I've seen on some sites a number of years back some *REAL* looking custom cards. I don't know what kind of process is involved to make them look like they were actually made by konami. Meaning the texture and feel of the card, not specifically the type/effect of the card. I've been looking around the site, but I haven't been able to find the specific information I've been looking for. :x If anyone could help me, I'd greatly appreciate it! ^-^ Oh, and I'll look myself since I haven't yet, but if anyone knows where to find a card maker template thing that works with japanese text. I'd really appreciate it as well. ^-^' Thanks! :3 EDIT: I just now found an example of what I was talking about. There's a japanese guy selling them on ebay. Here. http://cgi.ebay.com/ORICA-yugioh-Dark-Magician-Girl-PARALLEL-1-hot_W0QQitemZ280274571701QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item280274571701&_trkparms=72%3A1205|39%3A1|66%3A2|65%3A12|240%3A1318&_trksid=p3911.c0.m14 This particular one is ecchi, but it's one of his less ecchi ones. But this is what I mean, I wanna know how to make cards of the quality. Not necessarily with that kind of image though. XD
Draco Straybyrn
You don't. >_> Print it off and paste it on a card, that's about all you can do.
AzureTwilight
And it will look like that? So I just paste it on some common or something and it'll look like that?
moneypony
well,it should but make sure you super glue or glue it tight and use photo paper for a more realistic look and i think it's actually thinner.if you don't glue it tight,it might fall off in the middle of a dual. ♥ ЅϯᵲåώӀӞ℮ᴙʀɣ−ɴɨɨ−ƈħåɴ ♥
That person managed to do it most likely because he probably owns his own printing press. It's not hard, for people in poor countries, especially like China. I could probably go back and get some guys to do it for me, but why would I do that? Maybe for my own card set, but that's years in the future. It costs probably maximum $1 USD/CAD to make a holoed card printed in China, and only like, 5 cents for a normal card.
