It's the second time that I've negged JoC twice now, and I'm kind of tired of doing it over and over mostly because I only get three a day.

 

I'd like to know why they keep disappearing.

 

Is tarnishing the name of a moderator (even with good reason) against YCMLaw? It shouldn't be.

Sounds wierd. Are you talking about any particular mod or just mods in general. I recall that i gave bloodrun a neg a few months ago and last time i checked it was still there.

I do find it unfair for a mod to remove a neg rep regardless of the fact that they have the power to do so. If the reason is just and sensible then it should stay once you neg rep a staff member of the site (Mod). Abusing the power that they [Mods] have should be a violation of the rules. Is there such rule that states a mod cannot abuse their power?

However he managed to see them, even though he states that it was "someone without his consent". I'm hard-pressed to believe him, even when I usually give the benefit of the doubt.

That's kind of already how it works. For the mods who can remove reps' date=' we're not supposed to remove our own, we are to post in the Rep Complaint Thread like everyone else and have another mod remove it/them if they deem it removable.

 

However he managed to see them, even though he states that it was "someone without his consent". I'm hard-pressed to believe him, even when I usually give the benefit of the doubt.

You should give him the benefit of the doubt, especially considering I already told you that only supers and YCMaker can delete reps, so JoC couldn't have removed his own reps.

2. We cannot remove negreps. (Or any reps, for that matter.)

 

You are thinking of Supers, which is not the same as Moderators.

I know normal mods can't remove their own reps, but something is not right here. I had a valid reason, and even more than such. I could give him tens of reps for each individual thing he's done (or even have others help, because he's done wrong to them). I didn't, though. I summed it up in two short reps and made a statement.

 

I do not HATE him, I simply disapprove, and I'm showing it.

 

He has a bad rep in my eyes, and I should be allowed to show it.
