Dictator7
Do you think that we should get off from school on Halloween? I don't know why we don't. It is considered a national holiday....right?:?
ITI3L33
No.It is just celebrating the celtics.
armageddon08
It's actually supposed to be a ritual to keep the evil spirits from attacking the living, not a national holiday.
Guest Tiger
No. Halloween doesn't mean "NO SCHOOL!!!!! WOOT!"
Careless Whisper
You are all wrong. Except for the fact that we don't get let out of school on Halloween. It is a pagen Holiday, they celebrated it as a sign of the first man to turn from God. But yet, I don't believe in that stuff, so it doesn't matter to me, though I wish we had off school but we don;t/
Guest Star
To me, Halloween is a day where you get to dress up and get free candy from people. I think we deserve to be out of school on a day like that.
Draco Straybyrn
I GET THE DAY OFF THIS YEAR. It's quarter day. MWAHAHAHA. Anywayhoohow, I dunno what I'm going to be / if I'm going to be anything this year. =p
Guest KAJN
No? Halloween is made up. It's not real, there weren't any real scary pumpkins that scared people. Sir, Holidays are only the ones that have something to do with religion or the country. For example, Kuwait, it has National Day and Independents Day. These are optional, you can go to school or celebrate it out side. Christmas is a formal holiday which must be a holiday. The government won't say "Christmas, NO HOLIDAYS!" TAG
Unfortunately, I don't get the day off. Aw...I want the day off. That way, I'll have more time to waste as opposed to actually using it for my own good.

Careless Whisper
@DiZ: The Pagans celebrate it as the birth of Pagenism. Some people have different beliefs about it's origin, but the Pagan Starting is the more official version.

Guest KAJN
I think this year I'm going to switch to "A Box of Ice" I don't know if you guys heard of him but it's like a man with a box on his head that has circle brown eyes and a triangular brown mouth. And a Shirt with eyes and an open mouth. The eyes are like these = = and the mouth is open wide. And down a bermuda jeans with large shoes. Detailed well. Abstract [Atrocity]
No, we shouldn't get it off. What's more fun than parading around school in a costume? Last year I was a mobster (although everyone thought I was a pimp).

MasterOfMagicians
Halloween is derived from the celebration "All Hallows Eve" which celebrates the dead. You do not get out of school early, or get it off, because 1) it is generally celebrated in the evening hours, not during the day time. and 2) It is not recognized as a national holiday. So go trick-or-treating at about 7 (when it starts getting dark) finish up around 10, and go to bed. As for me, I get out early because the military likes to show its appreciation to military families, so we might get out an hour earlier so we can spend time with our families and take our kids trick-or-treating. The wife and I, however, are throwing a halloween party, and of course, handing out candy.
kungfuactionjesus
We should. It is a national holiday.
