thoch4
Anyone know of the card "Meteor Black Dragon"? I have 2 questions for it. 1. What monster was used with meteor dragon to form the fusion in yugioh GX? 2. Anyone know "Darkblaze Dragon"? wouldn't that be ok to fuse w/ meteor dragon.(I know the card says Meteor Dragon and Red eyesvb. dragon.)
Guest
Fusion Materials are based of names (unless it says 1 EARTH monster, etc.), you can't substitute another monster just because they both have 2400 ATK.

Abstract [Atrocity]
No. Darkblaze Dragon isn't Red-Eyes B. Dragon. IT WON'T WORK
thoch4
then what monster fused w/ meteor dragon in yugioh gx?
Guest
http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Darkblaze_Dragon When this card is Special Summoned from the Graveyard, its ATK and DEF increases to become twice its original ATK and DEF. When this card destroys a monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the ATK of the destroyed monster. I see nothing about copying a name, nor about being a fusion substitute. Again, this fusion is based on names, not ATK/DEF. As for the anime, you really shouldn't trust it for actual card effects or workings considering they stretch and change effects to suit their whims all the time.
