Recommended Posts

You probably came to this thread to learn how to recolor yugioh cards right?aye aye, captain!i can't hear you.AYE AYE CAPTAIN!seriously i can't hear you because I'm deaf.0.0

anyways back to the thread:

1.use path selection tool

2.zoom in,and make a path around it by clicking, make a new path by dragging a old path

[spoiler=picture]screen2um8.pnggo to history and keep dragging until it stats a new one, make sure you do it around the borders, sticker, attribute, picture, and the inside and outside effect box.or when you finish your first, just hold on shift and click on the other place you want to make a path around and it should start a new one.

3.zoom out and you should have something like this:

4.press on "selection from path"

5.last step, press on colors>colorize and drag to your liking

i know i already posted this in another forum as well as in another thread but not many people see it.

and yes,i used the first card on Zaca's "Insect Lord" thread because that was the first one i found when i made this.

and as long as you don't tamper with the brightness, silver or gold text should stay the same i think.(in the example i did tamper with the brightness so the gold text became red-ish.

excellent tut for GIMP users, MP. Photoshop works better, but then again, most people have GIMP, so this is an excellent tut.

ADVICE: Try and make the rectangle more realistic, and one more tip. Use the Hue/Saturation. It works much better.
