Squirtle. I'm not even joking. My main is Pokemon Trainer and for some reason my best pokemon ended up being Squirtle. He matches my play style the best. I still love playing as Charizard, but since Squirtle is my best I'll also call him my fav.

Climbers have chain grabs. That is the biggest reason.

 

Marth is fast and strong. Not to mention the tipper is very destructive. He's match ups against other characters is also good.

 

Wario can recover is several ways, is small but heavy, good air game, and he is unpredictable.

 

Zelda is, tall/light/floaty/slow and together it REALLY hurts. Plus she has a bad recovery, and has bad match ups.

 

Link is hard to learn, slow, can't recover, and has bad match ups.

 

Gan is just to slow to do anything and can't rover well when nocked off.

great metagame, follow-up ability (which includes a Chain Spike, Boost Smash, and, to a lesser extent, Laser Lock), great projectile, long range in his reflector, and camping abilities

Zelda and Sheik should be separated in the list. Cuz Zelda sucks, but Sheik is one of my best. Samus and Yoshi deserve higher tiers. They have amazing Final Smashes. Yoshi's egg roll and Yoshi Bomb attacks can be devastating if you know how to use them. Samus has a good charge attack and is pretty much the same as Lucario. She should be up there with him.

Um.......you do know tourney play has no items.

 

Egg Roll is a horrible move and Bomb is hard to hit with.

 

Samus's charge Shot is garbage since even at 130% it can't kill. Samus just can't kill.

 

How is she the same as Lucario. They have totally different move sets. The only move they "share" is their B but saying that makes them the same is like saying Yoshi and Mario are the same because they have a very similar forward air.

 

Toon Link is fast, Link is slow. Fast >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Slow

And how can he have horrible match ups when Toon Link only has bad matchups on high tier chars? Again, they have the same move set. Toon Link is BARELY faster then Link. And Link is more powerful than Toon. Link also does have better smashes. They are about the smae speed as Toon's, except more powerful. His up-smash is one of the best smashes in the game. It can kill very easliy.

 

However, enough about that. Both Toon Link and Link should be Tier B in my opinion. They are well balanced chars. With amazing move sets and a pretty great Final Smash. And who could forget their Air A Down/Up? That attack is dangerous. In my opinion, they are both very good chars, but..... *cough...linkisbetter...cough*

Me too.I use a lot Yoshi.But,Samus....My Cousin uses more Samus.Using Yoshi a lot maked me one more guy who is a Pro with Yoshi.(Omfg We like Yoshi) Also.That about Toon Link..Thats right.He is faster.But there are more of the Differences.But sill....Link wins.

Yoshi is probably my best, his attacks are confusing to master, but if you practice with him and master his attacks, he is amazing. He doesn't deserve F Tier. First the Link VS Toon Link thing, and then this... I wish I could shoot the dreators of the Tier list in the face... All the tier list is is the stupid creation ny a guy who think he knows everything about SSB, and just writing down the chars he is good with at the top.

But Link and Young Link are better. Have you ever played Wind Waker or the DS Zeldas? They suck. YL and Link's games are better. Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess are two of my favorite games ever.

 

And when your playing SSBB, have you ever paused it on Toon Link just standing there? Look at the scary look on his face. He's ugly.

You don't even need this list to see that Toon Link is more than "just barely" faster. It's fairly evident just by looking at the two in action.

 

 

 

3) Slightly better recovery? (I know you said it in another post; too lazy to quote it) Link's recovery suxx suxx suxx. Even I know this, and I'm not very knowledgeable in the technicalities of Brawl. Toon Link's does not (Don't give me none of that "same moveset" bogus; it doesn't take rocket science to see that Toon Link's goes higher than Link's).

 

4) Items are not involved in competitive play. Tier lists are for competitive play. As such, Final Smashes mean bupkis.
