On-Topic: Just finished it. (I'm going to post it now.)

Oh' date=' wait.

If the tourny goes through, me and Cheese Pirate are going to be partners. If you want any chance of taking home the gold I'd suggest finding a great partner. Flame is the best one not taken at this point.

We can't say that for sure, I've never once played teams. Let alone on Wi-Fi. Who knows, we could totally suck at teams.

Teams are just like normal Brawls. You just have a little help in the fight on teams. And unless items are turned on(Which I doubt they will be)I don't think we'll have that much of a problem.

Brawl Teams matches seems like each player fights a person, and barely helps the other player. I've been watching alot of Teams matches.

Also, it seems that on SmashBoards, people generally think that MK combos well with anyone. Kirbyciding is also pretty awesome in teams if it takes out their last stock. Also, G&W seems to combo well with others. Although our safest bet is probably Kirby+MK.

Seems like a plan. I was also watch some videos on the ol' Youtuber and saw a team match where Player A (Kirby) sucked up the opponent then Player B (Snake) used his >Smash on Kirby. The Opponent died and Player A recieved only minor damage. I should think of some strategies like that.

Combos like that end up being situational. If anything, we should practice the infinite grab-release combo.

It can be found

at around 3:40. But try to watch the whole match/set. Inui+Chudat are great, and they're using MK+Kirby.

Yup, and eventually they'll get to a high enough percent where they'll die. It's tedious, boring, and pisses them off. But hell, it's an easy kill. Timing it is tough though.

Hey, I was cruising around the net to find some good techniques for Pit and I came across this vid.

All Pit players should take a look and those who might face them should take a peek as well...

On topic of the tournament, anyone know whether team damage will be turned on?

Wi-Fi Brawl with 2 Lv1 CPU's to practice it/sandbag, along with recoveries, tech skill, DI, and avoiding situations where you button mash and roll around. 50 Stock, no time limit. Battlefield or FD. Pokemon Stadium 1 can also work.

@Shira, Team Damage should be turned on.

It's fine, as long as I don't end up in a bad spot, I should do well, otherwise I'll get pissed and go on a possessed rampage, which usually costs me a stock, and it'll take at least one of theirs, hopefully two.

I'll also go ahead and make the room. The sandbags will be Mario and Ike. Mario is standard in weight, and Ikes are usually pretty common along noobish players.

Damn. They are good. I also find it funny that it also show why Pit is bad (he can't kill).

As I already said, teams will be hard as hell over Wifi since their will be lag up the ass and teams as a whole is a lot different from normal play.

New pic has two characters, I'm just that nice.

So I was just messing around with arrow looping and holy heck is it hard to control those arrows...

The wingdashing thing seems easier but I'm still not too sure about it...

On the topic of techniques, anyone got any good ones for either Ike or Lucario?

Yeah, I was trying to play a tad bit different. Less/No Rolling, SHFFFair/Bair/Dair, and more aggressively. Turns out that doesn't work for me, I don't have the reflexes or the skills to do that yet. I can avoid rolling, but I think I'm gonna keep my MK the way it was before.

Hmm, that should explain it. Yeah, stick to the old MK for now.

Also, do you know any Sonic Pros? I mean, he's really fun to play as and I want to get better at him.
