If Diddy wasn't in many people would have been shocked and angry. He had many possible moves, popularity, and a long history.

 

Look at all the playable pokemon we have had - Lucario. What were their types? The answer to none of these is fighting. Now add Lucario and you get a fighting type. Side from these, Lucario is one of the symbols of the 4th gen and, like Diddy, has many possible moves and is popular.

Well today's a sad day in my life. My controller is pretty much dead after 7 years of almost constant use. The joy stick slowly crawls up even in the neutral position, making playing without tap jumping impossible when almost all of my attacks are u-tilts or u-airs.

 

Right now I can substitute the issue by every so slightly tilting the stick up, but that causes it to sometimes stick down, even in the neutral position. I can beat CPUs, but it' a challenge.

"GTFO" was really unnecessary. Learn some manners. Besides it was my opinion, what gives you the right to tell me I'm wrong?

 

First you say all characters that were added were fine, but then you turn around and say G&W, R.O.B, Toon Link and Wolf shouldn't have. I hate diddy and lucario, mainly because of their movesets. Pichu and such, even if popular, should have been more orginality, or at least better movesets. Pichu/Dr. Mario are both carbon copies of their predacessors. (Only difference is a pill-Pichu damages itself.) Mewtwo also had a bad moveset. For a Psychic Pokemon he seemed to have to get real physical during battle. His >/V B both required him to be close. (If i remember correctly.) Teleport reminded me of Zelda's which is sometimes hard to navigate. Toon Link, even if having almost identical moves to Links, is still a great character, with more speed and everything. Toon Link was in Wind Waker and Phantom HourGlass, both very popular games. G&W and R.O.B were most likely popular during their time. Being popular and having a possibility of having good movesets, doesn't make them good characters.

Wolf should be in it for X reason. (Yeah, take that.)

I picked Lucario because there is a lot more Pokemon and out of all of them-They picked Lucario. I'm sure there are more popular Pokemon than him.

ROB deserves to be in Brawl, he represents the NES' first days.

I never said you were wrong. I said GTFO because of all the characters you could have picked to take out, you made a stupid choice in picking two of the most popular and wanted character to be in Brawl.

What do you dislike about diddy and lucario's move sets? Both are fine and both fit the characters well. Pichu, Mewtwo, and Dr. Mario had bad move sets, but that doesn't make them bad characters. I take it the x thing was because of what I said about Dr. Mario. I only said that to show that I had no idea why he was added to Melee. People didn't want Wolf because they thought he would be another Fox clone, like Falco, and they thought that Krystal would be a better character.

 

Their aren't. Lucario is one of the most popular pokemon ATM and he fits very well into the game. Not only that he represents the 4th, and newest, gen of pokemon.

Pit was a classic character from 1 of the NES's better games. Not only that but Nintendo wants to bring back Pit his series and by putting him in Brawl they not only get a good character but also get to show of a character from a game who's series they want to bring back.

 

To be honest though I don't know much about Pit, how much people liked him, and how much people wanted him to be in Brawl. SWF would likely have more info.

But what the in the hell was >/< B? Is that supposed to be force palm? I'm assuming his ^B is Extreme Speed, if so, why doesn't it damage anyone? I don't know, maybe they just didn't do the moves right. I mean Pikachu's ^B is agility. WHICH DOES NO DAMAGE IN THE GAMES. But in SSB series, it deals damage. Find me some logic here.

True. The only reason I know most of the things I do is because I went a bit to much into Brawl before it even came out. Lucario's ^B and B fit well. is force palm. How the hell should I know why Pika's ^B does damage and Lucario's doesn't. That is like asking why Charizard's is one of the strongest moves but sucks in game. Lets just leave this as one of the many joke Sakurai's said that he likes to play.

Blaze Kick, Fire Punch, Sky Uppercut could all be similer to CF. Blaze Kick could be the same as Falcon Kick and Fire Punch to Falcon Punch. Uppercut could be his recovery move in which it would move in a similer motion. I don't know what could be.

 

It doesn't have to know these attacks but it seems most likely that it would know the ones I mentioned.

Blaze Kick, Fire Punch, Sky Uppercut could all be similer to CF. Blaze Kick could be the same as Falcon Kick and Fire Punch to Falcon Punch. Uppercut could be his recovery move in which it would move in a similer motion. I don't know what could be.

 

It doesn't have to know these attacks but it seems most likely that it would know the ones I mentioned.

Or, he could use other attacks. Close Combat (I don't care if he can't learn it. Lucario uses friggin' Kamehameha.), Fire Spin , Will-o-Wisp, Brave Bird, Overheat, Focus Punch (eh...then again, that is kinda like falcon punch. Then again, Bowser and Charizard have the same neutral B, so too bad. :D), Flare Blitz, etc.
