Chinotornes
:shock:I am a total noob and i don't understand how to enter contests, can anyone help?
NineteenHundred
To enter a contest, you must first read the rules and find out the theme of the contest. You may also want to check out the prizes to see if it is worth it. Once you`ve got the rules down, you can post your cards based on the theme of the contest. For example, in a contest called "The Ritual Monster Contest" you have to make a Ritual Monster. In most contests, the more cards you make for it, the more likely you`ll win. Hope this helps. :)
Catman25
To add to the above post, sometimes the owner of the contest might make you pay points to enter.
Chinotornes
Cool, Tnx for the help. When you have to pay points to enter how do you do it?
moneypony
please do not just say what the above post says because thats spam and makes it harder to scroll down,if you are going to host your own contest i suggest you make your prizes like this:1st place:3 reps2nd place:2 reps3rd place:1 rep[you can add a 4th place if you want]or you can reduce people from just going in and say "entry reserved" and never actually post a card by making an entry fee of about 3 points,YOU SHOULD NEVER KEEP ANY POINTS i suggest you hand them out as prizes for the winners.when there is an entry fee,you jut post there saying you want to go in the contest and give them points. Chinotornes
Alrighty. but my biggest problem is i don't get how to give them points. I'm such a noob :(
moneypony
you just click on their points next to the rep and then you will go to a page where you give them points and read the frequently asked questions first before asking. :^)
moneypony, thats the confusing way...Click on their name, takes you to user profile. On the right, THE RIGHT hand side of the screen it will have gender, location, bio, ocupation and interests then scroll a bit down and you see their points, click donate and then put in how much and why ^_^ easy way...
