Tips to Making a Successful Shop

- First make a Shop.

- Advertise

Making a Shop

The first hing you have to do is make a shop. Think of what you are going to "sell" before creating a shop.

*Remember you can always edit your shop and add items.

 

 

Advertising

This is the tricky part, advertising.

The trick to advertising is, to make your customers come to you.

 

These tips can help you advertise:

- A slogan or catchphrase could help attract customers.

- Be nice to the customer

- Create a banner or sig, that will help advertise.

 

 

Hiring Workers

IF you want to hire workers:

First, notify your customers that you are hiring.

Looking at other shops, will help you look for workers.

 

 

 

The Products

This might probably be the most important part of the shop, the products. First, you must know what you're creating.

Generator items are not allowed, narrowing your list to a few basic products:

- Splices

- Holos

- Packs, Tins, etc.

- Sigs/Avatars

 

These are not the only products you can create though. The more creativity, the better! If you create a NEW product that's good and high quality, people WILL buy!

If you do not know how to create/upgrade your products, check tutorials.

 

 

Patience

Do not fret, if your shop doesn't succeed. Follow tips described above and you'll be a successful shop!:P

No stealing from other shops.

No Generator Items

You didn't mention sigs as a main item. Sig shops are popular if you're good.

Well my shop's successful and it doesn't have point 2 or 3. I haven't hired any workers and my only advertisement is the link in my sig. But without those, my shop is the third most visited.
