"Script format, writing your fanfic with a layout similar to a theatrical play or a film manuscript, is not allowed."

Why is this not allowed

Who gives a flaming F**k how its wrote.

a story is a story if you don't want to read script don't its really a prick rule for stuck up A** wipes who want everything the way they want it.

Sorry but a story is a expression of ones self who cares how its written.

I call for this rule to be under Advisement for it being to restrict to those who can write a half decent story but would rather have it in this format.

[b']Script format is for lazy people, and the readers find it boring.[/b]

The readers.

No one's going to read a story in script format(Unless it's a screenplay). The whole point of writing a story and posting it here is so everyone can read it. I think you're the person who wants everything he/she wants it.

Sorry but a story is a expression of ones self who cares how its written.

You don't have to post it here. Again, the reader cares how it's written.

It's not that hard to write in normal dialogue punctuation. People who are too lazy to write the normal way are probably too lazy to write a decent story.

If I may provide a more succinct argument...

Script format is banned. Suck it up, or I'll ban you. Kay?

1) so only yugioh related fan fics can be made? you cant post your own totally different anime?

2) so no script format? would someoe be able to post a simple eg: of how a convo would take place in non script format?

Hey Mods' date=' got a question for ya. I have a Fanfic I want to revive. Should I make a New thread? Or should Just Bump the Old one?

[/quote']

New thread.

Also, in the wake of all the complaints about character sign-ups, I'll probably post a rule requiring all fan-fic threads to contain at least the first chapter or the prologue upon posting. It will go through regardless, but feedback anyways?

I think that there should be s subforum for story idea's and concept discussion. and I do agree with the new rule, that a new fanfic should have the first chapter/prologue, which is much better than someone saying that they're going to write something and then never get to even a small piece of the story... just my opinion :/

so just one giant thread where everyone is talking of their seperate ideas for their different stories, where everyone will be talking about different stories causing a huge jumble of random comments about all the different story concepts? how is that better than a sub-forum specifically for concepts and ideas? you'll have one guy talking about one piece, and another guy says something about bleach while the other says something about naruto, while there are 20+ of each going on at the same time in a single thread, while people are trying to find out who commented on what. IMO, I think that's just chaotic.
