Is there a card you own that means something special for you?

Recommended Posts

When I was eleven, I watched at an horror movie. I hated blood (I still hate it), and I wasway weaker about gore and horror (I find it easier to survive these movies now). With friends, for an Halloween night, i watched many monsters-related and horror-related videos and for the finale, I took a real horror movie. Its name was "Rats".

In this movie, vampire-like rats infest an asylum, and almost everyone gets eaten. All rats were lead by a giant female rat. The movie was filled with blood, gore, and everything disgusting.

I couldn`t sleep for months. And, one day, I got the Giant Rat card.

the next time I got that nightmare about blood-eating rats, I dreamt of using my card and I finally won against my nightmare.

I still have fears from movies; Such as Gremlins. But in not so long I`ll get over it.

Is there a card you got that means something special for you, like my Giant Rat and me?

The Legendary Fisherman for me. It took me to second place in my first ever local tournament' date=' losing to an Exodia deck [back in Beatdown era']

Unfortunatly, if you have him and "umi" on the field, your opponent can attack you directly, even if you have other monsters on the field.

Mine is Yomi Ship :)

By that argument, a church is a big building with good acoustics (sp?), the cross is two straight bits of wood/whatever else you made it out of, and the nazi symbol (I can't spell what it's actually called) is a bunch of lines stuck together in an interesting pattern.

Things don't mean something because of what they are, they mean something because of what they represent.

Look, Sartorius, and dragonbatosai. You could say the same thing for Soccer, Basketball. Now this is gona be one soppy speech, but if you like a game and have a passion or feel for it, you may feel a certain bond with whatever it is. To you, Yu-Gi-Oh! is a game which you play, and the cards are just paper and pictures. But to some (including me) Yu-Gi-Oh! is something I've always loved to play, whether im crap at it or not. I like my cards, which are lifeless, but they mean something to me. They mean, my key to winning and winning what I'm passionate about, a game to you, a hobby which I'm attached to. Soccer players don't play the game, they feel the game. As 'gay' and as soppy as that was, I'm sure someone wil agree with me.

Anyway, I've always been attached to my Chaos Command Magician, I always draw at the end of most of my duels. Also, FGD has helped me a lot, and Kuriboh. (Funnily enough)

I completely agree with you and Azmania

Sartorius and dragonbatosai, you must've never been given something to you by someone special, or you just don't understand the deep meaning of things. And with an attitude like that, you'll never have a girlfriend/boy friend. You should treasure special things given to you by someone special, or if there's just something that reminds you have someone, or something that happened, no matter how small or insignificant.

I have a picture of my girlfriend I carry all the time, yea, with your argument it's only a piece of paper, but it's special to me, because it's a picture of the person most special to me.

I really don't need to say much though, if you don't understand these kind of things then i'm just wasting my time and energy.

As for my special card(s) well, if I really thought about it, it'd be Dark Magician, Dark Magician Girl and Shadow Ghoul. Shadow Ghoul is special because it was one of the very first cards I ever had.

Thanks Hyako. One of my first ever cards was Blue Eyes White Dragon. I got it in a LOBWD Booster Pack. I also had a chain, and I got a card sleeve, put BEWD in it and stuck it on the chain. Blue Eyes always remains on my neck, near my heart, and in perfect mint condish! I have 3 other blue eyes, for my ultimate dragon.

Lol. I have many things that mean stuff to me. Just trading cards aren't one of them.

Well, ok, but then why tell us we're mad? It was you who sed:

Lmao at these people referring cards to emotions, dreams and power.

Cards are coloured cardboard. I win with them, I lose with them. It's only a game kiddies. I only play as I'm good.

u mad?

If something is not special to you, but is to sum1 else, don't make fun of them.

A card is the same thing as those' date=' just not always something given to you by someone, you'll get it eventually. I feel sorry for you if you don't.
