Never mention Treeborn Frog around devoted Yu-Gi-Oh players.

The only deck that could possibly exploit using multiple Treeborn Frogs is a Frog deck.

And I'm not even sure how a Frog deck would be able to take more advantage of multiple Frogs than of one.

D.3.S. Frog. >_> (Eh... bad example... but an example none the less)

Frog Decks summon D.3.S. Frog?

No, but D.3.S. Frog gains 500 for each Frog... for whatever Frog players would want to run them in 3.

But he doesn't get that ATK boost unless he's actually summoned. >_>

lol nice site.

i look at old cards all the time to try and find new combos, but it is hard to get them to work sometimes.

very overlooked card: a feint plan.

you have ONE hopelessly outmatched set monster, and block an entire turn of attacks by making it ilegal to attack it, but it is still there, protecting your life points. on top of that, it IS chainable.

A Feint Plan is exactly the same as Threatening Roar except that it can only be used with Set monsters and therefore sucks.

yeah, but you may want to save threat for when you have no monsters, its an extra, crappier verson for decks that want more of it. i see it used in a JUDGE's exodia deck right alongside threat.

There was another card which does the same a TR but has to be activated in the Standby Phase.

I'd run that over A Feint Plan.

Also, things like No Entry!! that won't work on cards that are summoned after it's activation are better too.

Treeborn frog doesn't seem that much of a threat and as for the monarch decks... they are starting to show sighs of dieing out.

They could have a last hurrah if Raiza was unlimited again, but it seems like they will die a sad death with IIW killing Macro and Zombie World delivering the finishing blow by making the very engine of monarchs an exercise in futility.

Did Macro kill Zombies? No. Will Imperial Iron Wall kill Macro? No. This is no different than the case of SIM supposedly killing DAD and LIM supposedly killing Lightsworn. Don't worry about it. IIW is even more easily dealt with than the other two because it doesn't negate the efects of the monsters or S/Ts trying to destroy it. (Breaker, MST, Heavy, Dust, possible Lyla.)

IIW only protects itself from Caius, not much else.

Ahh the days when yugioh was simple amd the only thing someone had to worry about was equipping Axe of Despair to Summoned Skull...but anyway Treeborn Frog is fine at 1 although I could imagine it at 2 or even 3 without much chaos consuming us all as it seems to loose its advantage with everyone and their dog side decking D.D. Crow or heck just using DAD or GB to either wipe the field or say thanks for the extra target.

Frog in grave, Oppresion on opponent's field, and no S/T on your field.

This would make it where your opponent has to pay for Oppresion each time Frog activates, and until they can't pay for it?

e.g.) Since Frog is negated from Oppresion, it is still your Standby Phase, it is still in your grave, and you still have no S/T. Would Frog attempt to come back, only to be negated again and again by Oppresion, until the opponent can't pay because their life is less than 801?
