I just try to make them fit in a battle scene screen. I'll try my hand at shrinking it. What's the average size?
Jappio
The normal size of a Pokemon sprite is 80X80 (pixels) or smaller. As far as shading would go, it wouldn't be too hard for yours, since yours is mostly just spheres. I suggest perhaps looking at other sphere shaped sprites (Voltorb for example) for the shading. And issue your sprite has though so far other than size, is the angle. Most sprites and specifically Pokemon aren't view from the front, they are usually a little from the side. The arms look weird, but after shading that opinion I think could change. Of course as a Pokemon sprite I can give you at most 2/10, due to lack of color, lack of shading, bad pose, and being too big. It is though so far a fairly good concept and border. As a tip, shading is made by how light would hit the object. Somewhere in the top left corner put a dot. That dot is the sun, a lamp, or some other source of light. Now picture that light hitting your Pokemon (imagine this in 3d) and how it would hit it. In places it hits directly, make that the lightest color of shade. Where it wouldn't hit it, make it the dark shade.
Cozmosus
He said it's the rough draft and he needs help for shading.Don't critic it as you would a finished pokemon
Jappio
I have given very little critique, I mostly explained to him how to shade it and other things. The critique I said was if it were done at this moment. Also, if I critique a rough draft as if it were a final draft, then he knows exactly how to fix and complete his rough draft, to make it a good final draft.
