I always inforce the sig rule. When ever I see a HUGE sig I PM them an ultimatum to reduce the size. If they don't comply, I PM a mod and neg rep them.

actually i think they should drop the 400 character rule, but as long as they keep the size rule that wont be any problem.

(they made a rule to keep people from making big sig's)

 

after all, my Sig is using up almost all 400 characters

These "powers" you speak of are limited to an extent. What we Local Moderators can do is exactly this:

- Edit posts within our sections

- Delete posts within our sections

- Sticky topics within our sections

- Lock topics within our sections

- Post in the Mod Forum.

- Ban members.

- Edit member's profile information.

So you can fill them with any spam you want like

.A.: A tag in the first and writings.

.B.: You could put writing in it.

.C.: You can add links or just add your tags.

Then when your about to post you have 3 options

A sig can be really small' date=' really small in size yet it could take more then 400 characters and i can proof it whenever you want therefore spoilers aren't going to be needed yet IF it was big then just do what you do now and that's remove it and pm him/her the sig so he can edit it OR put it in spoilers AND give them a warning.[/b']

I do hope that's possible but as far as i know' date=' it's not. Links and Tags no matter how small take up a big space of the 400 characters and as i said earlier i can easily prove this. Also writing takes some of the 400 characters but not always. If i get you right and that's that each time you post you have a choice of the three sigs then it would be annoying as hell and not really worth it.[/b']

It's waaay over 400 characters because I'm using CSS.

No, it's fine.

Having a character limit = fail.

Having a height and width limit = win.
