NineteenHundred
This is my first time making a graphics tutorial, I hope I followed the rules correctly. :) Do you want to learn how to make a card like this?: THIS IMAGE HAS BEEN DELETED TO AVOID COPYRIGHT INFRIGEMENT. Artist Credit: - Somapha This card`s rarity is known as Ultimate Rare. They are the hardest to find in the entire game, in fact, I only have 1 Ultimate Rare in my collection. Some examples include Psychic Overload or Frostosaurus. This tutorial will teach you how to make premium-quality Ultimate Rares. Note: This tutorial covers use of the GIMP. This tutorial may also work in Photoshop, Paint.Net, or other advanced image manipulation programs. Step 1: First of all, save this image onto your computer: (I made it on GIMP myself) Step 2: Open up the GIMP (or some other program) Step 3: Go to File >> Open Step 4: You need to open up to files. First, search for the Ultimate Rare Holo image you saved in Step 1. When you have found it, double-click on it to open it. Step 5: Repeat steps 3 and 4, except this time, search for the card you`re going to use. Step 6: Go the window with the Ultimate Rare holo (not the one with the card!), click on the Edit tab, then hit "Copy Visible". Step 7: Paste it onto your card. Move it until it is perfectly positioned on the picture. Step 8: Now I`d have to admit the holo is a bit heavy, so let`s tone it down by going to layers. Hit the hotkey CTRL+L and it will bring up the layers menu. Then slide the slider to where you want it. I find an opacity of 60.6 or around works best. Then click the Red "X" to click out of the window. Step 9: Move your cursor out of the picture area and to somewhere else on the card, and click to anchor it. Step 10: Now here`s where things get tricky. Select the circle select tool and go back to the window with the Ultimate Rare Holo. Step 11: On an Ultimate Rare, the holo goes over the stars and attribute sphere as well as the image. First, we`ll do the stars. Start making your circle. At the corner in the dark gray bar shows the demensions of your circle. I find a circle 23x23 pixels wide works best. Step 12: Once you made your circle, go to Edit >> Copy Visible. Go to your card and paste it. Step 13: Hit the "M" key to turn on the move function. With all the black stuff, it can be difficult to click on the circle. A tip is to slowly move over it until the anchor disappears. If you click while the anchor is there, the circle will get pasted instead of being grabbed. Once grabbed, move it over the first star. Make sure it perfectly goes over the star. Step 14: Once positioned, click paste and move out of the current star and onto the next one. The more stars you have, the longer it`ll take. Once you`re finished, move out of the star area to somewhere else in the card, and click to anchor. Step 15: Now go back to the holo image and use the circle tool again. Use it the same way as before, except make the circle bigger this time, preferably 33x33. Step 16: Click Copy Visible from the Edit tab and paste it onto your card. Use the method described in Step 13, and move it onto the attribute icon. Then, move out of the attribute sphere and anchor it. Step 17: Save your card. Congrats! You have now made an Ultimate Rare! Please let me know of any errors in this tutorial. :) Please do not redistribute this tutorial in any sort of way. If you do, I`ll eat your cookies! *munch* *munch* (j/k, but, really, don`t take it)

iKiller
OnSlaUghT, search for "GIMP" on Google and download it. GIMP is a free program that is like PhotoShop. If you wish to become a good member here at YCM, GIMP will certainly help you out...

Hunter and Yankee are both great members, but I doubt that they have GIMP. Anyway, nice tut. Overlay does produce a nicer outcome though.

~ BT
I think you should make the halo circles (stars attr.) before anchoring them you can make the halo 57.9 Opacity. It looks way better.
