Yes, Randomdog, you win.

I think that means that the second round has fully begun, and that the Finals can nearly begin! Serrenox, I think you're in the finals, but there's always the chance that aaronpoe1988 will have a trump card face-down. You never can tell in Yu-Gi-Oh!.

...No kidding... Serrenox will be declared the winner. aaronpoe1988 will be receiving a variant card soon. Also, if Serrenox and Randomdog could please delete that last string of spam threads and start the final match of the competition, I would much appreciate it.

...I am pretty sure I still have a face-up defense position monster on the field... pretty sure... ::re reads:: ... I don't see you doing anything to remove it from the field. And you obviously aren't attacking it, as you seem to be trying to attack me directly... but I don't see an effect that would allow you to do so... am I missing something?

Hey, wha? aaronpoe's right, he should still have 1850 Life Points. Sorry, Serrenox, but the duel goes on!

Alordzynix, whoever posts first goes first.

Thank you, Game Master. :)

Do to the obviously different game state, I will make the inference that Serrenox has destroyed my monster as a result of battle. Serrenox, is that the case?

{And Serrenox, I believe you just told someone there card was unfair... but you just summoned a 2500 ATK 1 Tribute Dark Warrior with 2100 DEF, no summoning restrictions or requirements, and the ability that every time it either hits a player directly or destroys a monster, they may not Set or Activate Spell Or Trap cards for the next turn. That monster is RIDICULOUSLY overpowered; 2500 ATK on a 1 Tribute Dark monster is bad enough, making it usable for both of the Higher ATK Viruses, but Warrior too, so it can be returned with Warrior Returning Alive afterward? 2100 DEF, so even after being enemy controlled, in a format with 1 Smashing, 1 Fissure, and 1 Brain Control, not even a Cyber Dragon can destroy it? And the effect; Jesus Christ, can anyone say "lock"? If the opponent has only Spells and Traps in their hand, or Spells, Traps, and tribute monsters, or no hand at all, and/or any monster on the field weaker than 2500 (which most are), They are effectively topdecking in a game where half their deck doesn't work, and you have a 2500 ATK monster on the field, with the ability to summon more monsters and use your own Spells and Traps. Ridiculously unfair. If your going for realism, I suggest you modify it in the future; perhaps give it the Gemini effect, making it use up your Normal Summon on a future turn in order to be so bad ass, and giving the opponent one turn to fight back normally. Or reducing the DEF to 1850, So the 1900 and up crowd could fight back after Enemy Controlling. And if you don't do the Gemini thing, you should make the effect affect both players: you have no right to be able to Bottomless a player who can't activate a Seven Tools, and then will not be able to ever again, cause you will attack them directly, thanks to your Bottomless. The potential of that card is ridiculous. Even if it's effect and stats were altered, I am still pretty sure, as long as Spell Striker is at 3, Warrior Returning Alive is at 3, Reinforcement is at 2, I am 99.95% sure that this card, were it to exist, would either be HEAVILY reliant on it's theme (I.E., This monster cannot be Special Summoned. This monster can only be Normal Summoned by sacrificing one Keltika monster.), or be limited to one, most definitely, and that's AFTER the text and stat changes.

I would probably make it:

Keltikana

Dark/Warrior/7/2500/2100

If this monster destroys an opponent's Defense Position monster as a result of battle, or inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points, neither player may activate Spell or Trap cards until your next Standby Phase, and the Battle Phase ends immediately. If all monsters used to Tribute Summon this monster were DARK/Warrior-type monsters, and a Battle Phase is ended by this card's effect, your opponent may not Set Spell or Trap cards until your next Standby Phase.

You got Dark MAgician stats, for christ sake, but on a type with more support, with one less tribute, with a unbelieveable effect, AND with it's own personal theme support (Assumingly.) That's just wrong.

Hm... writing that effect gave me an idea... ::runs to the card creator::

Oh, and I'm not trying to be rude or anything Serrenox; please, do not take any offense. I am simply trying to help balance the effect of your card, as I would assume that if we all here are not attempting some semblance of realism, we all just would have made 39 cards with the effect of "Draw {a number} from your deck" and one card that said "your opponent loses" or something equally ridiculous.

I am sure we would not allow this.

The effect, stats, and what not. It demonstrates the offensive might of a man as great as the Kingpin, while still giving him a fair drawback, which, if you really think about it, is also in line with his thinking.

"If my henchmen can't smash our foe, fine. I'll do it myself."

but once the foot soldiers are out of the way...

"Attack this fool directly? Why get blood on my hands; he's unarmed and defenseless. The rest of you fools can handle this." *walks off all pimp-ish*

And...

Dude's a bald guy in a pimpin' white suit with (in some illustrations and adaptations) a cane with a freakin' Chaos Emerald on it. (oh come on, it looks like the clear chaos emerald from sonic the hedgehog 2. Don't look at me like that, dammit! Yes it does!) I won't even take the time to talk about how cool he is in general, or looking in the artwork. :D

Although, random, now that I think of it, being the kinda guy I am, I probably would have included Fisk in the name some where. You, like how a slew of cards are "{name}, the {descriptive word} {Title}" like the monarchs and whatnot? I probably would have followed that pattern, just for the opportunity to put his name on a card. :)

Fisk, The Kingpin of Crime

Could work...

But still, totally awesome. I hope we both win our respective games, just so we can have a showdown; Marvel Vs. DC.

hm...

we should TOTALLY do that.

Each make a set for the respective companies, then post them on two threads with links two each other and be like "Marvel VS. DC: Who do you side with?" as the polls. Could be educational. And start people yelling at each other about whether Superman or the Sentry would win in a fight. :D

aaronpoe1988: Best of fortune against Serrenox. It would be a very interesting showdown, Marvel deck versus DC deck. Best of fortune to Serrenox, too, in the duel against you.

Alordzynix: Your presence is requested in the duel against Randomdog.

Randomdog: To put it in your monster's native language: ¥0ur K!ñgp!ñ ©4rd !$ $w33t.
