bastionsgirl
Well, you guys, I'm back, and I got myself a printer/scanner/copier. To celebrate this, I shall post some old drawings that I did a few years back. The first 10 are my own versions of the Sailor Scouts that I created for a story. I was 14 at the time that I did these, so yes, looking at these drawings, I thought they were kinda meh-ish IMHO, and I did not know much about shading, but I still want to show anyone who wants to see them:http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n62/ltmusicmaster65/scan0003.jpghttp://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n62/ltmusicmaster65/scan0005.jpghttp://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n62/ltmusicmaster65/scan0006.jpghttp://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n62/ltmusicmaster65/scan0007.jpghttp://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n62/ltmusicmaster65/scan0008.jpghttp://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n62/ltmusicmaster65/scan0009.jpghttp://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n62/ltmusicmaster65/scan0010.jpghttp://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n62/ltmusicmaster65/scan0011.jpghttp://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n62/ltmusicmaster65/scan0012.jpghttp://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n62/ltmusicmaster65/scan0013.jpg I put these pics as links b/c they are too big and do not want to take up so much space in the post. So, look at them and tell me what you think (no flaming please!!)
Guest JoshIcy
I cant tell if the smudges is because of the paper grain, or that you tried to erase on color? o.O
bastionsgirl
I tried to, believe it or not. I originally drew somethings around their ankles, but then I thought about it and it didn't look right, but it was too late anyway, so I kinda did. I did use crayons to color them in, btw. Not really the necessary choice, but it was all I had. Oh yeah, and the paper is kinda old and grainy to begin with.
Guest JoshIcy
lol and how long ago? ie) Roughly what age were you when you did this?
bastionsgirl
I was 14 years old, completed in 2004. I might redraw them and post them later on, but I probably won't color them because I kinda find it looks better, or maybe even colored pencils if I could match their colors. College has made my life pretty hectic now, but I'll try if I get the chance.

「tea.leaf」
Crayons would have looked wonderful, had you not ground them into the paper. Regular erasers can remove crayon, but only to some degree, and only if it was light to begin with. There are probably better options though.
