Glitches, hacks, some computer nerd was able to find out the code for MissingNo and import it into his D/P and make a glitch? It was never obtainable in R/S although. And I have my doubts about LeafGreen/FireRed. I might wanna retest that. But R/S it was never obtainable in. Not even with hacks.

Yah, you might wanna rethink that too. Neither MissingNo nor any other Pokemon looks like that. If you reread my thread, it says in D/P I encountered an Unown-like Pokemon. That was it. He obviously hacked the game so that he could walk through walls and had no Pokemon. That is not MissingNo.

Well' date=' excuse me for never testing MissingNo out using the Mew Glitch. But when I used the standard glitch, it never showed up having Water Gun nor Sky Attack. And it was not a [b']WATER and FLYING[/b] type. When I use the Mew glitch correctly, I will confirm these attacks.

Not bad, though, I have a lil thing on missingo...

 

I got one, it knew Water gun, tackle, and water gun.

I leveled it up (Don't ask how, it was wierd)

And it evolved into Kangasghaun (Sp)

Sadly, my game froze not 2 min later, and when i restarted, it said profile can't be found or w/e, and i had to start over again >.<

 

Also, you don't have to talk to the guy that shows you how to catch a pokemon. I just plain ignored all that, went to cinnibar, and got it.

I still got a lv 243 Snorlax. Yes, 243, that knows tackle and hyper beam. 0_o

there are 4 types of missingno's each with diffrent abilitys

 

1. is the glitchy box missingno which has sky attack and water gun

2. is the ghost missingno that has what ever your second pokes move is

3. is the kaboto fossil missingno, that one takes your opponants type

4. same as above

Half of this is wrong and you've missed out on a crap load of info. The Pokemon you are talking about is not, as thought, MissingNo but in fact it is called 'M. 'M appeared with a glitch in the HEX coding (It's HEX is 00) of the Pokemon where, you will see, Rhydon is the first pokemon. You cannot encounter MissingNo by surfing unless you have one of these letters in the 3rd, 5th or 7th slot in your name:

G, H, J, M, S, :, ], a, b, c, m, o, v or p.

If you do not have those then you can also find it by doing the Mew Trick. It's starting moves are not Clone and Transform, they are Water Gun, Water Gun and Sky Attack. It's types are Normal and Flying. 'M is thought to do alot more damage to your game than MissingNo though MissingNo does a sufficient amount of damage. It causes things to go haywire. 'M evolves into Kangashkan. 'M and MissingNo cause the item in your 6th slot to increase by 128. MissingNo and 'M are not, as you said, Pokemon Number 152 they are Pokemon number 000, in both the Kanto and National Dex's. 'M's starting moves are also Water Gun, Water Gun and Sky Attack.
