Dark
It is ironic, although I am sure they put it in the game as a legendary. Who knows? Only Nintendo.
Luxlord
It is ironic' date=' although I am sure they put it in the game as a legendary. Who knows? Only Nintendo.[/quote'] I dont disagree with your info but then if it wasnt meant to be in the game and only as a legend in the first one, why is it obtainable in every other game? unless its Nintendo's sick little joke as an easter egg... >.>
Dark
Glitches, hacks, some computer nerd was able to find out the code for MissingNo and import it into his D/P and make a glitch? It was never obtainable in R/S although. And I have my doubts about LeafGreen/FireRed. I might wanna retest that. But R/S it was never obtainable in. Not even with hacks. Dark
Yah, you might wanna rethink that too. Neither MissingNo nor any other Pokemon looks like that. If you reread my thread, it says in D/P I encountered an Unown-like Pokemon. That was it. He obviously hacked the game so that he could walk through walls and had no Pokemon. That is not MissingNo.

Mr. Best Male 2008
Well' date=' excuse me for never testing MissingNo out using the Mew Glitch. But when I used the standard glitch, it never showed up having Water Gun nor Sky Attack. And it was not a [b']WATER and FLYING[/b] type. When I use the Mew glitch correctly, I will confirm these attacks. Do half the people even read this. It sounds like you all are just saying "Good Job" and "Epic Win" without even reading any of this stuff. Just saying, no need to flame me. --_--'' ITS MY OPINION!!! =( Mine says Water/Bird :/
Static
That much effort to exploit a glitch on a game? And Pokemanz? Damn. Good work, Comrade.
Abstract [Atrocity]
My sig adds to the win. Also, my avatar is Missingno.'s evolved form, DMissingo. (lol, if you don't get that you suck) But I know what miussingno really is :o He is like god in his own way. He is the univrse, all the pokemon, all the people. He resides in a void, where no man can enter or leave, or se we thought.A rift in the space-time warp new Cinnabar island opens when you swim alongthe east cost. This rift connects to Missingno, and mirages of the last pokemonyou encountered appear, with their levels and power above their maximum. If you find Missingno. and leave him alone, he'll reward you wit a gift of multiples of your 6th item. If you catch him, however, he is contained. The universe, the pokemon, the people, is contained. If you try to play with him, he'll erase everything, leaving only him alone to create a new world. so tl;dr, Missingno. is the programming of life. Yankee
What do you know? A review on the glitch...Awsome.Not bad, though, I have a lil thing on missingo... I got one, it knew Water gun, tackle, and water gun. I leveled it up (Don't ask how, it was wierd)And it evolved into Kangasghaun (Sp)Sadly, my game froze not 2 min later, and when i restarted, it said profile can't be found or w/e, and i had to start over again >.< Also, you don't have to talk to the guy that shows you how to catch a pokemon. I just plain ignored all that, went to cinnibar, and got it.I still got a lv 243 Snorlax. Yes, 243, that knows tackle and hyper beam. 0_o

+Jono
Half of this is wrong and you've missed out on a crap load of info. The Pokemon you are talking about is not, as thought, MissingNo but in fact it is called 'M. 'M appeared with a glitch in the HEX coding (It's HEX is 00) of the Pokemon where, you will see, Rhydon is the first pokemon. You cannot encounter MissingNo by surfing unless you have one of these letters in the 3rd, 5th or 7th slot in your name:G, H, J, M, S, :, ], a, b, c, m, o, v or p.If you do not have those then you can also find it by doing the Mew Trick. It's starting moves are not Clone and Transform, they are Water Gun, Water Gun and Sky Attack. It's types are Normal and Flying. 'M is thought to do alot more damage to your game than MissingNo though MissingNo does a sufficient amount of damage. It causes things to go haywire. 'M evolves into Kangashkan. 'M and MissingNo cause the item in your 6th slot to increase by 128. MissingNo and 'M are not, as you said, Pokemon Number 152 they are Pokemon number 000, in both the Kanto and National Dex's. 'M's starting moves are also Water Gun, Water Gun and Sky Attack. The following are the TM Moves 'M can learn:Cut, Fly, Mega Punch, Razor Wind, Swords Dance, Mega Kick, Toxic, Take Down, Double-Edge, Bubblebeam, Submission, Seismic Toss, Thunder, Fissure, Teleport, Rest, Thunder Wave, Tri Attack, Substitute. For the fan fic of the story on 'M (which happens to be a pretty good read) as well as more info on 'M and other glitch pokemon, go here:Glitch DexThe Story I'm not advertising, it's just it's got tons of info is all. Mr. Judgment Dragon
I discovered MissingNo about 7 years ago on Red Version. Good times and good item abuse. Thats how I got an uberpowerful Mewtwo. Maybe I need to dig up my old Red Version game.
