Vladimir von Kinchenstein stared out at the large piece of land that the `people' there call Doma.

``Do you see that, Licks? Dux? Hound?'' Vladimir smiled at his three companions. The enormous Lickiliky was panting to keep up with the energetic Dustox and Houndour to the railing. They were nearing the port now.

``There is a new land of opportunity!'' Vladimir said. ``And I'm not going to waste it. I am going to rebuild that glorious Empire and rule it, and bring peace to that poor land ruled by primitive guerrillas.''

OOC: ^_^ Let's start this off with a bang, no? And DIZ-kun, since when am I a n00b or have no literary skillz? I choose to speak like this. Or as it may be, type. >.>

IC: Zachary, or Zach to his crew and family, stood on the prow of his dear ship, Crystal, named after his eldest daughter. His Pokemon, happy and energetic, swam beside the ship, playing. His crew worked and they were nearing the port of Doma, the new continent discovered. Soon they would be there...

"Yohoyoho! A pirate's life for me!" Great. Not even there yet and the captain, Zach Howley himself, was dancing like an idiot - a drunken idiot to be specific - on the deck. He spotted a posh, expensive ship in the distance.

"Hohoho! A wealthy landlubber, eh?! Lads, get closer! Man the cannons! But don't fire until you see the whites of their Pokemon's eyes!" The crew looked uncomfortable. This was likely to get them dead. Or worse. And yet, Zach Howley was their captain, and his will be done, sober or not. The ship sailed closer, and in an instant, several things happened. Daedalus, Zach's Swampert, used Surf on the opposing ship, forgetting they were on the ocean and that it would hit them. The cannons fired at the shock of Daedalus using Surf. Then the Surf came in and washed them all away...

OOC: Yay!

Seth was, in blunt words, pulling a 360 on a skateboard. He had been on the same boat for hours, and if you knew Seth, you knew he didn't stay still for more than 5 seconds.

"C'mon, can't this stupid little tugboat go any faster!?" Seth shouted as he continued his 360, before he eventually fell off of his skateboard, dizzy and feeling sick.

Darkest blinked. They were still there.

He blinked again. They were still there.

He blinked again.

THEY WERE STILL THERE.

Wonderful. He was having some nightmare. Well, we could see about that, now, couldn't we? Lucid dreaming was a very useful "disorder", after all. He willed the massive metal behemoths into the sky, knowing they'd rise straight up out of the water if he were asleep.

Nothing.

He was awake. The chunks of steel... were real. No rhyme intended, he thought wryly to himself, before starting to head back to base. No doubt, he was hallucinating. Had that Gliscor, Scrup, put something in the wine back then? Or was he just tired from the battle? Come to think of it, he still couldn't remember how he'd killed Regigigas. Maybe he'd gotten a concussion from some punch it'd thrown. But then he wouldn't have kept his seething fury... Hell, it'd been forty-eight hours, and he still couldn't get over Undone's ridiculous levels of torture. He hadn't thought anyone was capable of doing that to a prisoner until he'd seen that Sneasel try.

Okay. Maybe he'd overreacted, turning the thing inside out. But it's not easy to accept your girlfriend being... that.

The moment he finished that thought, he was sent sprawling to the ground. Ghosts couldn't trip, obviously, but bumping into someone was another story entirely. For some reason, they were solid until they were phased. No one had been able to figure out entirely why.

He glared good-naturedly at Undone. He'd recognized her almost instantly; there were no other ghosts in the Revolutionary — Dômà Federation now — employ, and they were almost at the wall of the base. Her return stare was all but distraught, and in an instant, he was scared out of his wits. The Mismagius was the one who had started the Revolution in the first place, and if she was worried...

"You first," she whispered. He'd never get tired of that voice... but still, it was wracked with a kind of sorrow-fear he'd only heard once: when he had been lured away from the Revolutionaries and captured by the prototype Ghostproofer.

"Big metal things, floating, fighting," he murmured, still on the ground. "Am I hallucinating?"

Undone had a catch in her voice as she replied, "N—no..."

"So what's your news?" he pressed.

"I—I'm... er... pregnant."

Darkest blinked. She was still there.

"From the rapists, you mean?" he inquired desperately. She nodded.

"The ones you turned inside out," she smirked. "But we have more pressing matters to attend to. Those boats have Pokémon aboard... and these weird things I've never heard of in my life."

There was a pounding of feet and a faint sound of laughter, and some bizarre species dashed by, a smiling Pikachu hurtling along after him. As he ran, a strange red-and-white ball fell to the ground.

"...Those," Undone murmured. "What are they?"

"I don't know," Darkest said confoundedly, rising into the air to examine the capsule the alien had left behind. "D'you reckon this is some sort of bomb?"

"No," she confirmed after eyeing the orb herself. "Looks hollow. Test it with a Shadowball."

He fired his smallest possible Shadowball on the ground just in front of it. It bounced a bit, and then rolled to a stop. He struck the orb itself — it rolled again, but nothing happened.

"I'll take it back," Darkest muttered, floating over to it to activate the contact required for a ghost to levitate something. The instant he touched it, however, he was engulfed in some form of blinding light — and then, he was in some strange other world.
