The year is 2009. A trade ship has discovered a new region, far to the northwest of Sinnoh. It has more separate pieces of land than all the other regions put together, but is much smaller nonetheless.

 

There's a catch: the Pokémon here speak the human languages.

 

It gets better, too. Regirock, Registeel, Regice, Regigigas, Heatran, and Giratina had set up a massive empire, which was recently overthrown by a band of rebels that are now attempting to stabilize the violent semi-anarchy they've inherited. Some choose to take the detalis from the common people: The former emperors were vile tyrants that gave power to sympathetic coporations and crime lords while killing critics or even patriots who sought to contribute, and the rebels were largely commoners who managed to get their act well enough together that they were able to literally slaughter all six of them. Others are listening to the businesspeople, criminals, and sympathizers: the rebels were rambunctious terrorists who sought to take over the whole world by initiating a coup of a respectable, kind government that provided jobs to hundreds of otherwise unemployed Pokémon. Team Rocket is in on this act, and they plan to help Imperial supporters reclaim the Doma Region, as it has been labeled.

 

Either way, it seems war is on the horizon. And all the interests of all the combatants have fallen on a single trainer: Ash Ketchum. Why? He's mistakenly captured Shuppet — who personally killed Regigigas in single combat during the final battle of the old Pokémon Empire. He and his friends, Brock and Dawn, are quickly forced to sympathize with the old rebels (not that he needed much convincing) in their diplomatic efforts to create vague peace and patriotism among all the inhabitants of Doma (fat chance). It's going to get much more violent from there. Are you up to the task of winning this war?

 

Ah, yes, I forgot to mention.

I am all the Pokémon in the game that were either native to Doma or were wild to begin with, as well as Ash (yes, all of them; I'm the GM, so I can do that). This is a list of Pokémon currently in the game, a short bio for each of them, their relation with one other Pokémon, and who controls them (no controller means that they're wild). The list will grow as more and more Pokémon appear in the RP.

Shuppet: Second-in-command of the new government. Extremely manipulative, though a good leader of willing followers as well. In love with Mismagius. Controlled by Ash.

Banette: An infamous crime lord in the state of Des Monas. Sneaky, cruel, sadistic, manipulative, and violent. Addicted to cocaine. Father of Shuppet.

Persian: Giovanni’s favorite and strongest Pokémon. Addicted to crystal meth, it uses Banette as a supplier. Spoiled and arrogant. Buyer from Banette. Controlled by Giovanni.

Mismagius: Leader of the new government and old rebels. Empathetic, calm, charismatic, and honorable, she’s a natural leader. In love with Shuppet.

Mawile: Intelligence commander for the new government. Former leader of the rebel recon team. Insecure unless in control, but an excellent leader. Mentor to Ninjask.

Ninjask: An intelligence officer for the new government. Former member of Mawile’s team. Happy, optimistic, energetic, and confident. Student of Mawile.

Heracross: Builds houses for homeless Pokémon. Former member of Mawile’s team. Optimistic and confident, but slightly arrogant and reckless. Best friends with Donphan.

Donphan: Builds houses for homeless Pokémon. Former member of Mawile’s team. Cautious and a bit timid, but optimistic nonetheless. Best friends with Heracross.

Groudon: A diplomat for the new government. Former rebel. Can’t stand to see other Pokémon suffer, and tries to use its power to help others. Best friends with Kyogre.

Kyogre: A diplomat for the new government. Former rebel. Hates Pokémon that try to hurt others, and tries to use its power to stop crime. Best friends with Groudon.

Rayquaza: A diplomat for the new government. Former rebel. Wants to stop the criminal, dog-eat-dog nature of the Sky Kingdom. Best friends with Deoxys.

Also, bad grammar, and you don't want to start with all super-powerful Pokémon. You start at about Ash Ketchum's level, and if you have all Pokémon from the start, you won't be able to catch a sentient Doma Pokémon (having a Doma Pokémon will give you tremendous influence).

I don't like Courier. And only you could make a RP where a Pokemon is addicted to Crystal Meth, honestly. Also, I am now surprised that Pokemon is in this computer's dictionary. I have never played Diamond or Pearl, so the Sinnoh region is pretty foreign to me. Don't blame me if I'm a bit unfamiliar with the Sinnoh pokemon, kay? Plus, this is my actual team on Emerald, so I'm happy. ^_^ With different names, of course.

Yeah, but this guy isn't possessed, isn't freaky, and doesn't have a piece of Soul Edge. Oh, and Yoda owns Cervantes. Plus, I know what an addict would do. Three addicts in Sixth Form - Age 18 - bullied our class for a year before they got arrested because we told. We didn't tell before because they had knives...so yeah. I know the behavior of an addict.

Yeah, but this guy isn't possessed, isn't freaky, and doesn't have a piece of Soul Edge. Oh, and Yoda owns Cervantes. Plus, I know what an addict would do.
