Contest Hosting ~ ?!

How would a contest pass be determined? It doesn't sound right to me, but it could work wonderfully if the passes were distributed correctly, and to the right people.

Although it's a good idea, and would be nice to see, there just wouldn't be anyway to control this. People have a hard time reading the other more important rules as it is. Some even keep making cards for contests that have been finished, some don't alter the thread title to include [DONE] so the mod knows to remove it, some still make pointless contests, some still run multiple contests at the same time, some of those people should know better but don't.

I've never held a contest. I don't see why I would want to. May I should. See what all the hype is with it.

This idea is IMO horrible. No offense, but, you enter a contest knowing that there is a chance that you will lose. That's it. Fair judging is different for everyone. If you don't like the way someone judges, don't enter the contest. Or go make your own where you grade fairly. But don't get mad at someone because you spent an hour making a card and then you lose to someone who did it in five minutes. This forum is not a place to vent anger, it's for fun. And contests bold the aforementioned line.

If you don't like it, don't enter it. It's as simple as that.

I'm a supporter of the "Contest Hosting Pass". Couldn't the Contest Thread be altered so that only specific members can create threads? It's not as simple as not entering a contest, it's knowing that what was once a competition is now a "who's friends with who" contest.
