Skarlet
[spoiler=Prologue]Many centuries ago Ancient Egyptians created creatures of great and terrible power, these Priests and their mighty Ka Monsters would ultimately prove no match against the army of Alexander the Great, and had no choice but to flee, embarking in a long journey through strange lands until, they were finally captured in various parts of the globe. Some providing their knowledge of Ka Magic to the Roman soldiers, in exchange for freedom. Still more were exploited by the Greek, to similar results; however, not all left Egypt a few priests turning on their colleagues, and aligning with Alexander the Great. This leak of the secrets of Ka power eventually led to "Shadow Wars", violent wars between various other nations of the world that had acquired their Ka Magic via trades of goods (as well as the aforementioned three) and services. Knowing that, Ka Power used as a weapon on this grand scale would destroy the world over time, the Priests of Egypt, convinced the the leaders of these nations that the Ka Magic should only be used as a last resort and only in orderly battles called "Duels" in order to settle wars with minimal casualties. These games would be played with orbs of energy known as decks, from which one could draw a random embodiment of Ka Energy, in the form of a Spell, Trap or Monster, these decks were created by the Duelists through use of Ka Magic, and could be changed at any time. Provided the duelist either obtained the appropriate Ka Embodiment for the required power, or could create it. Skarlet
true well once we establish our selves more in the character department we'll work things out, my main character is a Roman using a Gladiator Beast deck but I'll happily accept any characters that I deem usable, and Whye I'd love your help as well. Aelsthla-Mental
Meh, the prologue is meant to be foreshadowing, but you're right of course. The prologue is basically the background, the characters will appear first, then the plot next (perhaps vice-verca). patience is a virtue, so does that make impatience a sin? Just kidding you. But yeah, they will come.

Aelsthla-Mental
Here's a possible character to put in. Name: Mercier ChonceyNation: Greece (although he knows most languages)Appearance: A rather merry face with brown eyes and blonde hair. He wears a simple green tunic and rough brown pants. His skin is an olive color.Bio: The main thing to know about Mercier is that he is all about Mercier, he is a rather selfish individual who trades on each side of the battlefield. He earns a lot of money, but tends to lose most of it gambling, thus he is forced to constantly move around. Despite his selfishness, maybe he really is a good guy at heart...Deck: He wields a "Dark Scorpion" deck, making one wonder if he is really that honest in his profession... Guest Supreme Gamesmaster
Heh. If he has Dark Scorpions, I recommend Shadow Delver and Burden of the Mighty.
