Remix has not left, he has come back as 'Star (:'

It is up to the Mods to decide, also from research i have done, ppl that ask or hint they want to me mod do not usually get the spot lol

And still no-one had guessed correctly on who Remix wanted to be the replacement, only a handful know, including myself ^_^

Star's just a retard, he's bound to come back eventually, if I know him...................

*car falls off of roof in front of window, crashes, alarm goes off, people screaming*

Hey, look, Star's back!

Anyway, I could make a whole argument on why I should get mod privileges, but then I'd be wining, and Frunk told me not to do that because then he said I'd never get mod status even though I probably never will.

Well, somebody did.

Whom is this? (PM me) I like to know things before they happen. Besides, its the graphic design section mod they need, and who wants that job? xD

Well it's not only up to Remix. It's up to YCMaker with input from all of the other mods.

Tkill your post was rather pointless, check the line above the bit you quoted on the original messege, its exactly what you just wrote... lol

Also, at no point within the quote did i say it was an official decision nor it was only up to remix.

the word 'wanted' shows it was an opinionated choice.

^_^

Ah, but you are making a big deal out of it. Causing me to point out that even if remix does want someone its not fully up to him. Also, your posts are pretty points seeing as this is the "Leaving and Returning thread." not the "Guess who remix wants to be a mod thread"

"Zomg, I know who remix wants someone 2 be a mod and only i kno who!!!!!1!!'

Ah, this may be the end of the line, YCMers.

Just when things were getting interesting again around here, I must go. I feel a forum war in our midst, and if it does happen, I must apologise, even if it is not for the reason I am thinking, I must apologise, it is my fault either way.

It is time that I leave the forum to the future of moderation as Danilus left it to me (despite my being part of YCM before him, and my suggestion likely being the reason why he was appointed to moderator in the first place. His cool, calm, and collected way of moderating is something I have and still do envy, and thus he was the senior moderator in my opinion). On the subject of Danilus, I now understand his tale. Like has taken over, and I must say how pleased I am this has finally happened.

The forum is in crisis, our moderation is being criticized here and abroad, and I must say it's hardly surprising. As of late I have not been the most enthusiastic about moderating, and not taking it seriously like I once did. I was under the impression this was a good thing, but it is most certainly not.

Certain criticisms have been hurled at me, such from ignorant individuals such as Miranda_Cosgrove14, the constant questioning of the PokePlushie in my signature and why it is in fact allowed, and recently, some rather laughable criticisms from some sad, strange individuals from GameFAQs, who seem to have nothing more to do than criticize and laugh at us, and to think, I used to find people like this amusing (not laugh at, with), but now I really wonder how long ago it was they went outside on their own accord, that is, without reason, to get some fresh air, for it seems they have no other hobbies other than their computers, except, one must not forget their fascination with arguing, gloating and Yu-Gi-Oh!, but thanks to the wonders of the internet, I suppose they can now do that on their computers too.

Also, there is an odd trend of moderators eventually disappearing after their appointment. It was this way with DarkChaotix, SuperSanji, Danilus, TotalObelisk, darkguy00000, and now I join that list. I believe this is because here we simply do not overlap our moderation effectively. It would be very useful to have two specialist mods with the ability to work in the one forum or forum section. Otherwise, moderators become overloaded, and leave out of stress like TotalObelisk, this is also why Zyzzyx (also known as "bhim" and several other aliases) did so well when he was Card Contests moderator, he was able to focus on it, and not be bothered with several other forums.

We have members who want to be moderators, and plenty of spots to fill, but there is more to moderation than just desire, so much more, that I simply cannot be bothered to explain it, and if you don't know anything else sensible about how to moderate, other than the fact that you want to do it, please, give up now. Also, never ask, as you will never receive this way.

"So, the Frunk is leaving, again... Exactly why is it this time, and was does it mean?"

I am leaving as I simply do not enjoy this anymore, and judging by all the "Lock this", "Ban him", "Do that" and etcetera PMs I get, I cannot be part of YCM, still be a moderator, and not moderate full-on. I imagine this sounds ridiculous, but I cannot imagine how I would be if my powers were stripped, or my title removed, it's just not normal. I would wish to moderate in a more leisurely fashion, which I have been trying, but due to the lack of moderators here, it is not possible.

This though, is not the only reason. I am back at school, entering my second last year of schooling and the start rest of my life, and this simply cannot be a priority anymore. In the words of Danilus, "life just took over", and that is the case here. I must focus on my schooling, which takes up a lot of the days, and leave the rest of the time to sport, and not waste my life in front of a computer anymore.

It also dawned on me that I am getting in the way. When other moderator's begin pointing out your mistakes and questioning your posts, and even your decisions, sometimes even in public, for the whole forum to see, it really makes you wonder why you bother. It's very rude and un-mod-like to question a fellow moderator's instructions, especially considering he's the one who suggested you and a couple of other guys be appointed in the first place. A moderator cannot operate without the full respect of his peers, in my case, the other Super Moderator's and Specialists. I feel I have done nothing but show respect to each and every one of them.

Before you start, respecting and befriending are two different things. I, for example, have great respect for God Kaze's card making abilities, however, I do not feel I get this same respect, as the man has spoken to me very little for someone who is supposed to be on "my team", take that amount of talk, and halve it three times and you will find how often we have spoken about something other than moderation. Up until recently, this didn't bother me, moderators don't need to be friends to keep a forum running, I had my sections, he had his, and that's the way it was. I even didn't care of him constantly talking his own card-making skills up. Though, when my fellow Super Moderator (and this is before my antics of yesterday, so hear me out) begins acting immaturely, swearing and carrying on about things as simple as losing an award in a people's-choice award that was always intended to be fun, is very immature, and sets a terrible example for all those who look up to him (of which there are many) and is a major slap in the face to the other Super Mods who are trying to keep this forum under control.

"Ah, I see, you're going to be busy with real life and are a bit annoyed about moderation itself for a few different , what is going to happen now and after you're gone?"

As in most things, I will be changing my council status to "On Leave", as it is inevitable that I will one day get bored during my holidays or something and return, I will also be handing control of the February Awards to Tkill93 for the last few hours and the managing of adding all the links to names, updating to archive, winner's circle, etc. 'Cause hey! It's a diplomacy, and it's about time someone took control (Yes, you heard right). I will also be handing over control of the F.G. to any of my employees who think they can run it (this includes Dj-Osiris, for the record, which was added just today). Due to my not doing too much else, that's about it.

"Are you going to outline a bunch of things to certain thing like last time?"

Like last time, I have some messages for certain people (If you haven't been already mentioned, or mentioned below, go cry), these can be good and bad;

The Slime Lord: Is there a nicer guy? I think not. :)

Elsandero: Despite your recent tendency to ignore me (reference to bluntness in most recent PM), I wish good luck to you.

Shaco: You really have made this time since my return enjoyable. I feel like you feel highly of me, and feel you are very genuine when you thank me for "reminding you YCM exists". It is my honour to say that I think very highly of you too, and it is too my absolute delight to call you a true friend. :)

Eli: I must say I admire you. You make me laugh with almost every word you mutter. I do hope you become famous; the world could use somebody like you.

Azuh: Ah, Melbourne... Trams, the MCG, the many homeless people. (I must be crude to the end). It's been a joy to post with you, and I do hope you are still here if and when I come back.

Falling Pizza: Where are you?

Danilus: You won't read this, I don't believe, but I must say I model myself off what I know of you.

Darkthorne: You strike me as odd... :P Good luck to you.

YCMaker: Thanks again. 8) Get some more mods. :P

I could flame some people, but I won't... Too anyone else; if you have any questions, contact via MSN, if you don't have it, get it from someone else.
