You followed the tut on Youtube didn't you :P

First, you should've got a render that matches the colors of the BG.

Second, the background would be better if the colors were black-ish and grey.

Third, usually good sigs use brushes and C4Ds. Backgrounds without those things aren't that great.

Oh, and if you wanted to know how to add a border, then do this

On the sig, press Ctrl+A, go to Edit, Stroke Selection, and set it to 1px or 2px.

1. I'm not too sure what you did to the background, but I can tell you what you didn't do... something good, no blending, no depth, no lighting, no flow, illogical colors, horrible text

2. Stick to 1 render, render on left is far too choppy, bad blending, really boring and empty, text is bad, had potential (note HAD)

1. I followed a tut exactly.

2. I did not make the renders. I don't have good text :(

If you followed a tut then you should look for some actual good tuts

You've gotta look at the renders carefully, and for good fonts go to dafont.com

I left them like that to see the border.

Use gimptalk tuts' date=' the only real problem is the blending though.

I'm kind of bad with blending <_<
