Anyways, about the splice.

Coloring is nice, except for the white-ish part of the wing, it's too dark.

The hair on the head (or whatever it is) looks wierd around the wing and looks like a bit is cut off at the end on the bit that's not touching anything.

Firstly, I can tell you had issue with borders. In areas on the chest, the hair, and a few other areas there are issues with it, like it being the wrong color, or not existing. The white on the chest and the white on the wing are too different in shade. I also don't quite like how the wing is positioned, but that might be due to color issues. The tail also doesn't seem right. Your shade of yellow also has too light of a border color.
