samer_13
They should make a series from the 28th century universe, i would like to see what they would do with that.
Flinsbon
They'd probably have starships with transwarp capabilities, so the Federation would be made up of like the entire Milky Way, Andromeda, and a few other nearby galaxies. They'd be exploring other galaxies for the series. Maybe they would reach the edge of the Universe! They would be a good episode.
~Shore
28th could be a bit too far. the technology would probably be so sophisticated and the alien races so new that it would be beyond our capabilities to actually bring them to life for TV

~Shore
Does anyone think that someone other than Data should have died in Star Trek: Nemesis?the only reason data died is because Brent Spiner was starting to ageand I think that the only TNG movie to be made should have been first contact.Nemesis is pretty much the definition of jumping the shark. Flinsbon
Agreed, and I'm pretty sure you are right about Data. They had to get rid of Spiner. He needed too much makeup and even still it looked like Data was aging.

samer_13
I didn't watch any of the Star Trek movies with the original cast, or i plain have forgot the plot of the movie, but they need a fresh series away from Archer, Kirk, Picard, Janeway, Sisko, etc. They need a new timeline to work with. Flinsbon
What about the voyages of the Excelsior under Captain Sulu? They would need a new actor, though.
~Shore
again, thats old news. it would just look flashy with todays special effects, and there would be hugemangous controversy over the recasting. we need something all new

samer_13
What about a new location like Humans on a starship from the 23rd century standed in another galaxy and the make a new base? I am just throwing out ideas here.
Flinsbon
We need it to move away from the existing time periods. We've had the 22nd, 23rd, and 24th centuries. We should have something from the 25th century, now.
samer_13
What ideas would you have for 25th, i think we had enough of the Borg, it would be nice to work on something more like inside the Beta Quadrant.
~Shore
heres my premise: telowarpthe ship and everyone else is blown into tiny pieces, and then reassembled at the point they wish to warp to. this would be in addition to warp, and there would have to be a station to process the info so it would only be used in emergencies
