~Shore
MasterK' date=' you have been officially accepted into Starfleet. Welcome, Cadet! Captain Kirk would definitely win in hand-to-hand combat. Picard is older, weaker, and more fragile. Kirk is the fighter. He's more aggressive than Picard as well. Look at the end of Generations![/quote'] he would Kirk Karate Chop picard. but picard wouldn't fight him. but spock data and worf would win more than either of them
samer_13
Fine, i forgot about generations, Hands down to Picard. But who would win against Data?
Flinsbon
No one can win against Data except for maybe Q. Remember First Contact? He could have destroyed every Borg in engineering if they hadn't put that skin on him. He had already beaten like 4 or 5. As long as no one hits his OFF switch, Data's in the fight. ~Shore
yeah, I guess the first contact data story was kind of an excuse, but it was also really cool. but heres what I want to see: Wesley, Chekov, and Barclay in an all out brawl
samer_13
GO BARKLAY!!!
Freeman The Master
BARKLAY get out of the holo deck
~Shore
whoa, spelling fail X( I am not worthyand yes, Barklay would probably retreat to the holodeck.
Flinsbon
Barklay would probably go to the holodeck and make a program with Wesley and Chekov in it so he could practice fighting. Then he would never fight, anyway.
coinsu
i guess i have to agree with flinsbon.
samer_13
He could make the best fighting hologram, and make him fight Wesley and Chekov.
Flinsbon
Yeah, Barclay is into the holodeck WAY too much. We're all pathetic Star Trek fans. His name is spelled Reginald Barclay.

samer_13
Who here thinks there should be a new Star Trek Series?
~Shore
yes. but it would have to be good. I would want it to continue the timeline rather than be a spinoff of anything, because the existing star trek universe is so crowded that they need to expand it
Freeman The Master
well i would like them to go to there roots but am thinking alternate reality of the Enterprise-D
~Shore
hmmm, that could make a good episode, but an entire show set in an alternate reality :? i don't know.
Flinsbon
I agree that they need to continue with the timeline. They basically did this - Enterprise...100 years...Original Series...70 years...TNG/DS9/Voyager. What is that supposed to be? How about a series that deals with Crewman Daniels' time from Enterprise?
~Shore
I mean something not like Enterprise, because one of the things that bugs me about star trek is that in the original series, the enterprise isn't like a super-important ship, they never say its like the flag ship or anything, so why should it have a predecessor and then a series of highly ranked successors? its just to make it so that its a show about the star ship enterprise so fans won't reject it. like, in Enterprise, its the first warp 4 starship and its even before the federation. either someone in starfleet has an obsession with naming ships enterprise, or someone at paramount wants more shows about it
Freeman The Master
well Enterprise has been a important flag ship name in human history and ever seence the TOS it when on from there.
~Shore
i guess. the original series ship got pushed around a lot though and it was never treated like something super special
coinsu
Sorry I do not have an openyen on if they have another series or if its a ep I just do not know.
Flinsbon
The Enterprise was special to Scotty. :) Remember the Trouble with Tribbles? Anyway, the Enterprise name doesn't live just because it was a flgship or something fancey. It lives mostly because of its great captains. That and every ship named Enterprise has done its job well. If you don't believe me, here... Aircraft Carrier - Survived WWII and aided in the downfall of Japan's military forceSpace Shuttle - Made successful test flight (though some hated it because it was only a test)NX-01 Enterprise - First Warp 5 ship. Aided in the formation of the Federation. Saved Earth from being destroyed by Xindi. Destroyed the Spheres. Not good - made first contact with the Borg.Enterprise (original) - Allowed first contact with more species than any others. Aided in the destruction of the Doomsday Machine that would have killed billions. Aided in the accomlishment of V'Ger's (Voyager VI's) mission. Stopped Khan and the Genesis Device.Enterprise - A - Stopped crazed Sybock. Saved the Khitomer Conference and allowed Peace possible with Klingons.Enterprise - B - Uh...Enterprise - C - Attempted to save Klingon outpost, solidifying the peace between the Federation and the Klingons.Enterprise - D - Too much to list.Enterprise - E - Saved Earth by going back in time to stop Borg invasion/allowed First Contact. Reunited people separated by beliefs. Stopped Earth from being destroyed again by Shinzon. Not good - Saw the destruction of Data.
~Shore
but this is star fleet. every ship probably has a huge list of accomplishments
Freeman The Master
you got a good point MK put what if Starfleet is just a figure head... we have Section 31, they do the stuff Starfleet can't.
Flinsbon
Even though every ship may have had its accomplishments, most did not do something that saved humanity/saved Earth/stopped an evil force/saved the Federation. I think they also messed with time the most. Remember what the guy said in the Voyager episode when they took Janeway out of time? Someone mention Kirk and the guy said, "James Kirk? That guy's a menace! He's always showing up on our scanners!" or something like that.
