samer_13
I don't know the life span, but the thing i know is that trill can get a symbiote and when the host dies the memory is also in the symbiote. If the symbiote doesn't have a host, it could die. What would most likely happen if Earth were to be assimilated? I am just wondering about your opinions. Flinsbon
I'm assuming you mean by the Borg. Well, if Earth was assimilated, that would obviously not include the starships, starbases, or colonies. If the Borg only assimilated Earth itself, I still think they would have a serious problem. As Riker said in First Contact, there are 50,000,000 people living on the Moon. Add in the Mars colonies and other different colonies around the quadrant and you're probably looking at maybe at least a billion people. Plus, the starships in Starfleet are almost never at Earth. It may take a while, but if humans got some help from other species, they could probably settle on another planet and start anew, but they could probably never go back to Earth. Freeman The Master
well is this before or after the deminon war?because i think that the Breen attack on the academy would put more ships near earth so that will not happen again so if the borg should come it wold be hard to do so. samer_13
What i would think would happen if Earth is assmilated is that Starfleet would have to regroup at a different sector, and possibly ask the Klingons, and Romulans for help to retake Earth and try to heal everyone. That would be a good movie, or possibly a 2-3 part episode that i thought up of. Now, what do you guys think of the Borg attacks on Earth?
Freeman The Master
well they will start with the most populated area and work on from that.

Flinsbon
OK, terriq is out and Clawbo is in! Also, I think if Starfleet engaged the Borg to take back Earth, i think they would need Picard. He would know exactly how to destroy each ship.
Freeman The Master
ya will most likely the Old voyage Crew as well. the only borg ship the could not Destroy i a tactical cube.
samer_13
They would definitly have Picard and the rest of the crew up against the Borg, and have the Klingons fight with them, Romulans i don't know for sure. The hard part is to heal everyone on Earth who has become a Borg, also getting rid of the Borg technology.
Flinsbon
Yeah, they would probably find something that could be released into the atmosphere to neutralize the Borg implants or something. If they could use the EMHs, I think they could remove the Borg implants. By the way, I like your Avenger card.
samer_13
Thanks, i forgot to include the ship name in my signature, and i decided to make a card out of it. O.k. how about the Klingons, what do you guys think a possible scenario about them?
Flinsbon
I don't think they would have as many problems fighting the Borg as humans would. Look at Worf! He fought the Borg in First Contact even when his phaser was useless. Now imagine a few billion Worfs fighting like that. Do you think they would have much of a problem? Borgs can adapt quickly, so then, the WorfZ would be useless...
Flinsbon
The only Borg Klingon I've ever seen is the one in Unimatrix Zero (VOY). He could enter the Unimatrix, so he fought with Voyager against the Borg when he retained his memory. And how would the Borg adapt to a physical fight when they all fight differently? samer_13
O.k. guys, what would you guys think would happen if the entire human population were assimilated in First Contact? I would think that the entire Alpha Quadrant would be assimilated.
Freeman The Master
yes the humans made the Alpha Quadrant ir maybe the kzin empire will take the place of humans..
Flinsbon
Since humans (specifically the Enterprise - D crew) were the first to know about the Borg, if that were to never happen, no one in the Alpha Quadrant would even know about the Borg, let alone know that they're coming. Maybe they would run into a Doomsday machine. :) I think that would end the problem.Samer_13 has graduated from Starfleet Academy and is now an Ensign! samer_13
Basicly freeman summed it all up, so that would be catastrophic. My favorite Star Trek species is the borg, and i love discussing the evnts that the borg would be involved. Now... what would your guesses be if the borg were wiped out by species 8472?And finally, i graduated!
Flinsbon
I think humans would have a better chance against the Borg than against Species 8472. Look what they did to Harry Kim, and they only scratched him! Species 8472 would take over the galaxy.
Christian-Exodia
I hate Star Trek,Star Wars is 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 times better
