I think Star Trek began its slow decline (series wise) after Gene Roddenberry died.

yeah, luckily, it was pretty slow. I think the high point of star trek was the 4th season of TNG, which is ironic since GR thought it would take 4 seasons for the show to reach its full potential and he died shortly thereafter

Unimatrix Zero Pt. 1.....I think that's it's name. It's a Voyager episode. I'm pretty sure that is what Freeman is talking about. Although I don't think it's the last episode.

 

Freeman: The Enterprise episode with the Borg is not really a continuation of FC. I'm pretty sure you're getting it from the fact that the borg froze in the ice after transporting from their sphere, but other than that and the fact they mention Zephraime being crazy, talking about cybernetic creatures from the future and Picard saving humanity, there is no reference to FC. =/
