StevenBray Posted September 18, 2008 Report Share Posted September 18, 2008 Suteibu turned away without saying a word as Dark went and got into his car, while Suteibu made his way towards a large, black military-style Jeep "Come!" he shouted without turning around and continued on towards the jeep and as if instinctual, the 3 who talked to him earlier and Jeanne followed behind running to catch up to him. As Suteibu reached the jeep he pressed a button on a keycard he found on the underside of the wheel-arch, and opened the passenger's side door. He threw the keycard back towards the group "Marco... you drive" he said as he closed the door, and simultaneously the brunette man caught the card and walked around the jeep to the driver's side alongside the large blond man (who got in the back on the driver's side), while the girl got in the back on the passeneger's side. Marco pushed a second button on the keycard and started the jeep's engine, before putting the card in it's holder on the dashboard. Suteibu took out some radio gear and passed copies around to the other 3. All 4 put their in at the same time ~Testing, Testing - 1,2~ Suteibu said into the headset. The other 3 gave a thumbs up to confirm they were working, and Suteibu nodded back and stared forward through the tinted glass of the wind screen "Let's Go!" he ordered as Dark drove out of the Garage and was followed by the van, and then by the jeep. Outside on the road Suteibu pushed his finger against the earpiece and changed the frequency until he got a positive result. He used hand signals to signify the frequency he wanted them to tune into. The two in the back changed their frequencies on their own while Suteibu changed Marco's for him, so that he didn't have to take his hands on the wheel. After they all changed frequencies they gave Suteibu a thumbs up "Dark, respond if you read us" he said calmly as he took out a laptop from the front compartment and began booting it up... Okay teams listen up--were going to a military base owned by the Darkness. I received word from one of the Unknown Spy's that they have something big there and exactly what that is--well its beyond me. Our mission is to find what there hiding, kill the Darkness agents, and the final part of the operation is to set off an Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP)." Dark started on the high way passing a sign that read "Base 14-B7 10 Miles". "Any questions before we get there?" Dark said in a calm yet firm voice to all the others. As Dark waited for replies he scanned through his computer looking for secret entryways into the base. StevenBray Posted September 18, 2008 Report Share Posted September 18, 2008 All 4 of them listened into Dark intently; "Do we have an alternative escape route?" the girl asked curiously as she looked at a copy of the plans to the Military Research Centre on her PDA, as did the other 2. "That's already been planned out" Suteibu answered quickly as he typed into his computer, and a red line appeared on the PDA directing them towards the alternative exit. Everyone examined the alternate exit route and a thought immediately flashed in his mind "Suteibu, there's a reason why neither the Unknown or the Darkness have inhabited that area. That's the Hot Zone" Marco said calmly as his eyes glanced at the alternate route and then back at the road. "I know that Marco, but that's the safest exit if they block off our original exit route. If we can't get back to the vehicles, the Hot Zone is the only place they will not follow us" Suteibu replied quickly, arguing his point. "We'll be irradiated!" Marco shouted back angrily as he took his eyes off the road and stared at Suteibu. ~But it's the best option we have if we get caught out again by the Darkness~ Dark said over the headset calmly still without taking his eyes off the road, as Suteibu pushed Marco's head with his index and middle fingers to look back at the road. "But Dark I still have 2 questions, do we know how many Dark Agents we'll be going up against, and since we can't send everyone in until we know what we're dealing with, who's going in?" Suteibu asked as he stared at the road, as the sign said ^Base 14-B7 6 Miles^...---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------OoC: Supreme I hope it's OK I spoke using your character in my post. A few minutes later Dark came onto the radio. "I'll go in. I'd hack the system but that would give away our surprise attack. There's roughly 450 agents at the base but that's just estimated--nothing exactly unfortunately." Dark glanced at his clock which read 11:30am, the sun was shinning bright on the vehicles on the highway and although it seemed peaceful... the sent of Darkness still left the air different. Far in the distance the gate of the Base could be seen, a turn came up on the road. "Alright follow me exactly. Were going to set up a base where a few of you will be staying while the rest of the teams go in." As soon as we set up base I'll explain exactly what the plan from that point is." Dark said as he continued to scan through the computer. Back in the city a Darkness agent stayed behind at the destroyed Underground to make sure no one came back. He then started to hear cries for help feel the air. "What the-??" The agent started to rummage through the rubble until he saw a hand reaching out. The agent got on his communication and asked for a prison van. The agent pulled the hand out which turned out to be Cody buried in the destroyed building. Hope it's ok.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Suteibu and the others said nothing as Dark decided that he would go into the base as the gate to the military base came in sight. They drove to a small open area just away from the base and parked the vehicles. Before exiting the vehicle, Suteibu grabbed and cocked a silver Luger from the glove compartment; "Jeanne... Stay safe... ok" he said handing her a pistol and grabbing her hand tightly before they exited the vehicle with the other 3. As everyone scrambled out of the vehicles and began preparations for this difficult and all important mission, Suteibu walked over the Dark quickly. "Dark I'm going into the base with you. The two of us should be enough to check out the place and ascertain the situation and scope of the mission, before bringing in the cavalry" he said as he checked and cocked his pistols (one at a time). "Okay you can come to. You'll need this if everything goes according to the plan, Suteibu." Dark opened the case showing two orb like devices and a metal box. Near the bottom of the case was 2 small remote controls with short antennas. "I'll make my way to the center of the base. From there I'll make my way to the south end of the base and you should already be at the north end. On my signal we both activate the controls causing the EMP to go off." Dark handed a metal orb and remote to Suteibu and closed the case. He took out his gun and loaded it with 2 Nitro Bullets that he got from a pouch on his belt. "Okay... we cannot afford a screw up. We get in get out and get as far away as possible from the base before the EMP goes off. Any questions?" Dark said in a very serious tone. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

StevenBray Posted September 20, 2008 Report Share Posted September 20, 2008 Suteibu placed the remote into a pocket on his flak-jacket and the bomb itself under his jacket (latched onto a hook underneath). Suteibu looked ahead at the facility in the distance (not too far away) as Dark asked the question, but didn't answer for a while. "No questions really, I'm just curious to know which route you had in mind of getting into the facility" he suddenly said softly as he looked back at a map of the area. "Also I suppose with this EMP plan and the precise timing of the activation, we will have to turn off our radios and PDAs (the maps) while the EMP goes off and maybe for a couple of minutes afterwards too, otherwise they'll get fried too" he said calmly as he began to grow concerned about the difficulty of this mission. Meanwhile at 17th and Mursa the mystery man was standing in a booth overlooking a strange facility *With the Unknown out of the way, nothing will stop our grip on the world....... So why can't I shake the uneasy feeling?* he thought smuggly, yet worryingly. "Sir... the subject is ready for you... in room 3B" a scientist-type man walked in the room and addressed him. The mystery man turned and walked passed him without saying a word and the scientist quickly followed behind. They reached room marked 3B and as the door, inside strapped to the wall in a cross shape (arms out to the side and legs straight down together) was Cody... Dark paced back and forth thinking about how to enter the base. "?" Out of the corner of his eye Dark saw a black van belonging to the Darkness pulling up to the group. A moment later an agent stepped out and aimed his gun at Dark. "Bad choice." Dark said sharply before quickly launching a knife into the agents neck. The agent dropped to the ground, his blood starting to spread. "That's how we get in." Dark pointed to the van while placing his gun back into his coat. "We enter the base posing as Darkness agents." Suteibu then sat in the passenger's seat of the van "Dark... are you coming?" he asked sarcastically as he looked ahead at the Darkness Complex ahead of him *and is this actually gonna get us inside that place?* he pondered as he watched other people go into the facility... The mystery man continued to stare at Cody on the cross while sitting on a small, wheeled office chair. He suddenly pushed back on his legs and rolled over to a control panel, and as he pushed a small blue button, the cross moved forward off the wall and laid out flat.
