Exiled Force vs Turbo Booster

Recommended Posts

Exiled Force: You can Tribute this card to destroy 1 monster on the field.

Turbo Booster: If you have Normal Summoned a monster this turn, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. You can Tribute this card to destroy 1 monster your opponent controls that battled one of your monsters this turn.

I would say Turbo Booster.

erm, i would agree at first, but...

turbo booster, as it can be special summoned, at least, you would have to have a monster of yours attack to have that effect work. that sometimes means -1 a monster you control to -1 turbo booster as well, and then you take LP damage on top of that.

if the monster could be destroyed by attacking, then you should do it.

with exiled, you can just tribute the card to destroy any card. no attacking necessary. quick, and to the point.

i would say, on that point, that whether or not one of them has a Special Summon effect, Exiled is better.

Exile only kills monsters not any card you want.

turbo booster has one use:

1 monster attacks gyroid (or like monster ie. marshmallon) FD ><

turbo booster attacks other monster

turbo booster tribute for effect and takes out gyroid

how often will that happen though?

as Abstract [Atrocity] wrote, it is search able with RoTA. ;)

which makes it better, as you can get rid of a monster quicker, as long as you have a normal summon.

i wasn't saying that that happens often which was the point this card is so much more situational compared to EF that it's not worth running for me

Exiled Force is better' date=' Turbo Booster is just for cards like Mallon, Reaper, and Fool.

Except you forget that Exiled works against Mallon, Reaper and Fool anyway, without you wasting one of your monsters attacks to attack a "not destroyed in battle" monster.

I realize that, but I was saying that's pretty much the only use for Turbo Booster without you losing a monster.
