Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Was reading a story about the gods and heroes of Viking mythology, and decided randomly to make these cards. Please tell me if there's anything that doesn't fit with the mythology with these cards. Norse ChariotContinuous Spell CardWhile this card is face-up on the field, monsters sent to the Graveyard other than as a result of battle are placed on the bottom of their owner's Deck instead. When 5 monsters have been returned to a player's Deck this way, you may add 1 "Hel" or "Valhallan Hall" from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. In addition, while this card is face-up on the field, you may control 2 Field Spell Cards if at least 1 of those cards is "Hel" or "Vallhalan Hall", and when your opponent activates a Field Spell Card, your Field Spell Card is not destroyed. HelField Spell CardWhile this card is face-up on the field, you may remove from play monsters that would be placed on the bottom of a player's Deck by the effect of "Norse Chariot" instead, then place 1 counter on this card. By removing 4 Counters from this card you may Special Summon 1 "Dark Giant - Hel" from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard. Valhallan HallField Spell CardMonsters destroyed as a result of battle can be Special Summoned to the owner's field in face-up Attack Position during the 2nd End Phase of the turn they were destroyed. At that time, decrease the ATK of the monster by 500. In addition, when a Warrior-Type monster would be sent to the Graveyard as a result of battle, its owner may instead place it on the bottom of their Deck. Dark Giant - HelDark/Beast-Warrior/7/2600/2550This card cannot be Special Summoned from the Deck or Graveyard except by the effect of "Hel". While this card is face-up on the field, you may remove from play 5 cards in your Graveyard to negate a card effect until the End Phase of the turn this effect was activated. GinnungagapContinuous Spell CardThis card cannot be destroyed by card effects. If you control a face-up "Muspellheim" and "Niflheim", you may send those cards to the Graveyard to activate 1 of the following effects:* Destroy all Spell and Trap Cards on your opponent's side of the field and draw 1 card.* Destroy all monsters on your opponent's side of the field and send a random card from your opponent's hand to the Graveyard. MuspellheimContinuous Spell CardWhile this card is face-up on the field, inflict 400 damage to your opponent's Life Points each time they Summon a monster. In addition, by placing the top card of your Deck on the bottom of your Deck, you may decrease the ATK of that monster by 300 until the End Phase of the turn. NiflheimContinuous Spell CardWhile this card is face-up on the field, increase your Life Points by 400 each time your opponent activates a card effect. In addition, by placing the top card of your Deck on the bottom of your Deck, you may increase your Life Points by an additional 300. Man of Many NamesLight/Warrior/12/?/?This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card's effect cannot be negated. This card's ATK and DEF is equal to the number of cards in your Deck x100. If "Norse Chariot" is face-up on the field, you may Special Summon 1 "Wolf Token" (Light/Beast/2/500/500) each time a card is placed on the bottom of a player's Deck. [spoiler=Boring Explanations]Norse Chariot refers to the chariot used when guiding the souls of those who have died, and if I remember correctly, they were guided in the form of wolves. I might be mixing my memory with another person's story. Hel is, like the name looks like "Hell". However, as is it represents a place where souls of those not lost in battle come to rest. Those who HAVE died in battle go to Valhalla, where Valhallan Hall represents the return of these warriors for war. Dark Giant - Hel is the she-giant who keeps Hel, kinda obvious by her name. I've altered her a bit and given her an effect that I just thought would be cool. Ginnungagap is the yawning void in which everything is held. It is large enough to hold thousands of universes. Its effect to destroy the two cards and destroy is based on Ragnarok, and how the two elements of each area cause chaos or creation when met. Muspellheim is a fiery and just plain hot place held in Ginnungagap where Fire Giants and the like reside. Because it's all about fire, and because even the gods themselves were afraid to enter it, I gave it a burn and weakening effect. Its brother, Niflheim, is a clouded and icy place and I pretty much made it the opposite of Muspellheim, though it does no justice to the mythological region. Man of Many Names is a card I hope you might be able to get on your own. Link to comment
bury the year
Unique take on Norse mythology. I liek. EDIT: Niflheim's a continuous spell, I assume. Link to comment
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Thanks. I was thinking about making an entire written set, and making the cards all connect together, so you could make a Norse deck if they were real. Link to comment
bury the year
Yeah... But, you need more monsters. Plus, you still didn't fix Niflheim. Link to comment
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Didn't notice that, even though I was re-reading my cards. lol And I guess I'll tell those who don't know that "Man of Many Names" is Odin. Link to comment
bury the year
1) Deck needs to be capitalized on the last 3 cards2) "Man of Many Names" needs to have a DEF of 0, because there is no specification for its DEF as "?" Link to comment
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Well, thanks for pointing that out. I've been out of it lately because of school and not getting a lot of sleep. I have even been making stupid mistakes on DMU such as summoning a Giant Germ when my opponent has an attacker with 4000 ATK. It's not fun. Anywho, I'm going to be editing some of these cards more than likely, and then putting them in my Norse deck which will be posted when all of its cards are finished with creation. Oh yeah, and his DEF doesn't have to be 0 xD Link to comment
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Updated some cards and made some new ones! Link to comment
bury the year
Well, you already know my opinions on these... They're excellent. Link to comment
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
It took me a long time to find all of the names for the cards, then I just applied effects that relate to how their story was told. There are a ton more that I could have made, but it was too much work in the end and I decided against it. EDIT: Finally 3000 points! Link to comment

Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Maybe if I find an interesting part while reading I'll add the cards. Like there's the World Snake and Fenrir (which, yes, they're both animals, yet they're Loki's sons). Also, Heimdalt apparently taught people how to use fire, and also made three women pregnant just by sleeping in the same bed as them >> Link to comment
bury the year
I did make a ritual for Jormungadr once... Oh yeah, Heimdalt = epic. I want to be able to do that. Link to comment
