Yosuke-kun
Well, I'm just happy that the Mods are being more mature about it this time. There were at least 3 who were just acting like little kids. And I don't see what is so bad about Chases idea. Also people need to go back to the Rps and actually use them instead of talking about basic ones that were locked here. Its starting to get annoying

The mods have always been mature; you honestly expect them to mod someone that wasn't mature?
Yosuke-kun
You really love that word don't you? And there were a few who were just acting immature about it last time. But the worst ones, were the guys who were flaming at the people against the advanced clause and not getting penalized for it, just because they were on the same side as the mods. fenrir
OBJECTION! I have a great relationship with practically all the RP mods, (Save Sushi.) yet just because I'm a friend doesn't mean I won't get warned. :/ Also, the main difference was that the flamers against the advance clause were flaming directly, as in 'funk you' 'you're all baka' etc. The ones who were supporting were giving actual reasons with actual supporting facts. Not to mention we didn't flame, other than the occasional 'are you this stupid?'.
Yosuke-kun
Yes, you didn't swear, but I remember one guy named Snotch, who flamed at anyone who was against the advanced clause. Yet he was not punished in any way. There were others, but he's the one that I consider the worst.
fenrir
You mean Snitch? Snitch was actually warned by Rinne for flaming in that RP club. So your argument is invalid. :/
Yosuke-kun
I didn't know that. Still, that only makes me respect Rinne even more. But I know that Umbra and Shadius both saw Snitch flame repeatedly, and they didn't say a word to him.

You can't tell when someone gets warned unless a mod states it.
Yosuke-kun
True. Anyways, there were some mods who acted almost as immature as the new people who were going mad and comparing the advanced clause to the Holocaust. And its sad, but there are still some mods who do this. If you want to know who they are, ask via PM. I don't want to say anything like that openly . Big Bad Pennar
Chase reccomends a new clause that prevents really.short basic post but does not require an extremely long advanced post I hope for YCM's sake that this was sarcastic. That was my original Aim, believe it or not, but i now have a few other "Alternate Aims"
Great Unclean One: VK
I've got some suggestions. 1). Don't try to do anything major to change RPing. 2). Try to change a lil bit at a time, not too much at the same time, it'll lower resistance. 3). So far people are happy right now. Change is so far not needed until people starts complaining, and by people, ALOT not just a few!

I'm interested in these 'alternate aims' however.

Lina-chan, for example, was a newb to the forum, but practically outclassed me, who has been RPing here for quite a bit of time.

Enma Kozato
people new to RPing likely don't know how to RP but i will leave with that since this is developing into a pointles arguement

fenrir
people new to RPing likely don't know how to RP but i will leave with that since this is developing into a pointles arguement On contrare, this isn't pointless. It's solving something. You have to consider this when someone joins. Ether, A; They're interested in RPing, and they go check it out, try it out seeing as they possibly won't know anyone that RPs on the forums. Or, B; They want to try RPing, but don't go through with it because flamers exaggerated the needed quantity of the post. Ether way it ends up in personal choice. Enma Kozato
well what you have to consider is that this is a valid point you want people to join the RP forum otherwise nothing will really be different you will always RP with the same people and if noobs are dicouraged to join fearing that in being new they will be ignored kicked not accepted etc. this is why if simpler RPs existed then the noobs would have a way to improve their RP skills thus eliminating that situation or in other words noobs make the forum go round
fenrir
No, that's the thing. If you keep basics, a noob will have a damn good chance to not improve unless an advanced joins in. Most advanced RPers don't or won't because it's a basic. Having more advanced RPs allows for advanced RPers to join RPs. If noobs join, that begins a subconscious teaching process. In an aspect.
