Hydra of Ages
so we cant find the creators or even a mod and have them implement it...this may be hard. The only one with the power to even add subsections is the Admin' date=' YCMaker, who barely comes online period, let alone bothers with the RP section. [i'] Getting him to do something is like praying to God. It'll probably make you feel better, but it's debatable if it actually does anything.[/i]
Mr.WHAM
Well I don't call myself The Revvelionutioner for nothing. I am online for a good majority of the days so I will make this suggestion, chalenge him to a duel, or bothb for the sake of fun and i will try to become his friend Idk what he's like though. Otaku-sama
Like what Blazinghydra just said, YCMaker is like God/gods. Getting touch with YCMaker is like trying to contact God via e-mail. It's not gonna happen. Plus, an RP recommendation panel like the Recommended Videos on Youtube requires programming beyond the capabilities of the BB code, which this site runs on. Also, if that much attention was put on the RP sections, all other sections on YCM will protest on why a sub-forum recieved more attention than the rest of the site. Mr.WHAM
Well how about we work together to make it for everyone. If we ant the site to be more organized/help i dont see why not. Also it might not be for everything may be clubs & organizations & games but thats all i can think of that would need it right now. I will always have an idea for a soultion even if its impossible. Yosuke-kun
As far as I know, YCMaker only does what HE wants, and doesn't even listen to what anybody who isn't a mod has to say. So even if you could get him to respod, he wouldn't do that, and he might make some sarcastic remark about you too. But thats just what I think, I don't know if it would happen. Sunshine Jesse
YCMaker is too professional to do something like that from what I've seen.
Yosuke-kun
Well, I can't really make an accurate statement about him, because I don't know him at all. Bt from what I've heard oher people say about him, and from my inuition or whatever, he seems like the guy who act like hey're better anevery one else because of their stars or their positio. But again, I can't make an accurate statement about him.
SPA7X
Oh well. Case closed, back to the grind. I'm actually not as much upset with the Advanced clause (I do alot of actually writting, so I'm used to it) as much as I am how it was treated. I mean, Hello? Didn't we already do this? I'm all for try, try agian, but when some thing clearly didn't work the first time, what hope would it have the second? It's like trying to break a steel wall with your head, failing, having everyone else tell you failed, then doing it again. It might dent it, but in the end it'll do more harm then good. Sure opinions on the ordeal may have changed as the tag system continued (Flandres's current posts here and former ones as one example), but they also changed in the same way during the last advanced clause. It's seems to always be either one or the other on this site. Actually alot of the problems (please don't ban me for saying this) Lie on how Mods acted. I felt they were only looking for the negative in our suggestions, trying to find every way possible to inact their will and ignore ours. Kinda makes me wonder why this threads here in the first place. I personally felt like the Mods were acting stuck up a bit. Alright, so not everyones as great a RP'er as you, Whoopie. People still want to rp the way they feel comfortable. I saw no compassion and understanding from the people supposed to be both powerful enforcers AND fair guides. For this site, that's kinda depressing. Personally, I'll just play along with the Advanced Clause for now. Something tells me though it won't last. Yosuke-kun
Thats is very true onhow the Mods acted. Not allof them, but alt of themway overreacted last time. However I admit I overreacted about it too. But it was motly cuz of how they were treaig the newbies. And your not entirly rigt about the steel wall. If yohit the same spot with the same amount of force enough time, in wil brea. Now trying to do that with a butterknife will never work.
Big Bad Pennar
Judgment Day? Sounds more like the day Hitler was Reborn! This Section shall cease to exist when others start Protesting about the Mandatory Advanced Clause... we wouldn't want that now wouldn't we? I Support Awesome66's Suggestion the most as it is the Most believable move to make.....

Hydra of Ages
Judgment Day? Sounds like Lightsworn support. Personally I think Advance Clause should be an 'enforced guideline' rather than an actually, rigid rule. If people don't play by it, then people are allow to nag and try to show those who break it how to increase their RPing. But that's just me, anyway. fenrir
Doesn't matter anyways. In a month or so, Apprentice Clause gets implemented, Basics are allowed again. Well, that should be it.

Reaper of Shadows
I agree. I personally wouldn't mind following these guidelines myself, but I feel like the punishment for not following them is more like a hard slap in the face, rather than trying to push the Rp'ers in the right direction. I nothing upsets me more when it happens out of the blue. You go to sleep one day, wake up the next, and ur Rp is locked, and there's little you can do about it. The Mod's need to at the very least, if they see a thread that would get locked, give the rp'ers some kinds of heads up, or some kind of timeframe to implement changes. Because otherwise, its not fair to the Rp'ers whether they be advance, or noobs.

There's a clear contradiction to your statement. :3 Rinne announced this a week ago, everyone had plenty of time to adjust. So you can't say this 'happened out of the blue'. Sure, the locks were fast and merciless, but everyone had time. Note to self; use objections more often.
Reaper of Shadows
Well obviously I wasn't there fore the announcement as it happens I was away last week. So I had absolutely no time to adjust, or I obviously would have. You can't announce something and expect everyone to get it at the same time. Some people are on more often than others, and sometimes there are circumstances where a person doen't have a chance to check the forem. And where exactly was this announced anyway? And regardless of that, the locks were fast and extremely merciless, and it shouldn't be that way. Thats the kind of actions that drive Rp'ers away from the site. Things like this shouldn't happen for something that can extremly easily be fixed. Head up is all I'm asking for.

Mr.WHAM
Let me say something If we are semi noobs do not expet us to know all or any mods. I didn't know any until the thread started to lock. I don't know but those and other problems are things we must address. In addition, peole may searh the site for such updates and warnings, but with constant updates it is really hard to tell. Personally, this is one of the reasons why I didn't notice the announcement.
