Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
You had some good ideas, but your OCG needs improving, and the way they're worded in general is kinda confusing @.@ Link to comment
XENOCIDEX
ok, since i'm a noob, i don't know what OCG means, is it referring to official card game grammer?if so, i will fix it Link to comment
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Yes, it is. For a n00b, you figured that out quick. Link to comment
XENOCIDEX
well, could you please correct me as i don't know exactly how to write these perfectly yet Link to comment
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Sure, but it'll cost you $100.... Not really. I'll use your format for the cards, so you can understand it. Life Force Draining Vortex: magic continuousWhile this card is face-up on the field, Summoned monsters are destroyed during the 2nd End Phase of their controller's turn. Giant Gummi Golem: effect monster; lvl 7, 2000 atk /2000 def, water; aquaWhen this card is destroyed as a result of battle, you may Special Summon up to 2 "Medium Gummi Golems" from you hand or Deck. (( You can change the above card's effect so it goes off when it's destroyed by a card effect, but I think this is the best way to weaken it if you still want to )) medium gummi golem: effect monster; lvl 5, 1500 atk /1500 def, water; aqua. When this card is destroyed as a result of battle, you may Special Summon up to 2 "Mini Gummi Golem Tokens" (2 star aqua, water, 500 atk / 500 def) in face-up Defence Position. Pot of Rapacity: normal magic cardDraw cards from your deck until your hand has 6 cards. Your opponent then draws the same number of cards. Rotho: the Survivalist: effect monste, lvl 5, warrior earth, 1900 atk / 1900 defWhen this card would be destroyed as a result of battle, it is destroyed during that turn's End Phase instead. If this card is in your Graveyard during your Standby Phase, you can discard 2 cards to Special Summon it in face-up Attack or Defense Position on your side of the field. Savior of Light: effect monster, light magician, lvl 4, 0 atk / 2100 defAll cards that are removed from play are instead shuffled into their respective owner's decks. Book of Amon Ra: quickplay magicNegate the activation of an effect of 1 Effect Monster on the field. During this turn, negate the effects of all Effect Monsters with continuous effects. (( This one I'm not very sure on. The wording doesn't come to me well )) Link to comment
XENOCIDEX
i didn't really know how to word the book of amon-ra, i wanted it to say that it negates one effect once, and if its continuous, the negation lasts until the end of the turn thanks Link to comment
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Aaah. Hmm.. Well, maybe try to tweak what I wrote a bit so it makes more sense to you. I got the wrong impression. Link to comment
XENOCIDEX
well, you can criticize me on all the new cards i'm posting too :D Link to comment
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Mainly you're just forgetting the capitalization of letters and arrangement of the words. Nothing too big. Just look at cards that are like the ones you are trying to write and you can get a pretty good idea on how to write them. Lottery is a pretty unique card. I like it. Spell Synthesis is kinda just like Magical Stone Excavation and Spell Replication. The other cards look good, but with OCG errors. Link to comment
XENOCIDEX
ok, im getting around to start posting the theme monsters of the pack, so please comment on them as they come up, i kinda like the idea of them all rolling dies for risky effects Link to comment
XENOCIDEX
hmm, does anyone have comments on the Corrupted monsters, it took me forever to figure out what they would do... Link to comment
Lego Dude
i think that some of these corrupted monsters are too overpowered, like the 2nd corrupted soldier, he is a 1900 attack on his own, and if you play the 2nd field card, you have twice the chance of getting a good effect, you could go for a first turn KO with infernal reckless summon, i think you should change it EDIT: oh, you could also say its limited to whatever Link to comment
XENOCIDEX
OK, im going to start posting the ideas as cards w/out pics, as well as adding new ideas. if you have pics that might be good, post em, good ones get +1 Rep Link to comment
Lego Dude
hmm, do you have anymore cards to post? i think you should get all the ideas down before you start taking the time to make the cards, but since you're making the cards, why not put the what rarities you would want for each of em for people to discuss, i could see pot of rapacity and lottery as secret/ult and ramiel as common etc. and i cant find any good pics for anything sorry... would a skull on playing cards be good for lottery? Link to comment
XENOCIDEX
i don't think i would like a skull on playing cards for lottery, maybe something like a cartoonish lottery slip with 5 scratch off images Link to comment
XENOCIDEX
Darn, this thread has gone dead, could some people please post .... Link to comment
