my first CS3 sig

Fine.

Only thing I see is a brushwork, double crosshatch, inking and text.

On the second, you noised it, and that's all. Oh yeah, and replaced/drop shadowed the text.

Bare the effects on the render, of course.

Not too complicated.

However, this may just be the GIF format.

Also, don't shade your render like that, it doesnt help him to blend nor is does add anything positive.

Next time please, save it as a PNG. Imageshack compatible and keeps all the detail, unlike GIF, which strips, like, 99.99% ._.

Not good at all

You have some sort of effect on the render that makes it look really lq

Those large lines around the render are sort of a hint that he isn't meant to go with styles like this

No flow or depth

The background makes no sense

No blending

How many times must I tell people to not make those ludicrous copies of the render

No lighting

Bad text

And #2 is even worse

Here I go:

First one:

- Text needs work (-1)

- No light source (-2)

- Saved as GIF (-2)

- No flow (-2)

Total: 3/10

Second:

- Text needs work (-0.5)

- No light source (-2)

- Saved as GIF (-2)

- No flow (-2)

- Noise [Ewwww....] (-2)

Total: 1.5/10

If you work on those things you'll get better. This sig is kinda simple.
