Dark
These are a few Pokemon related Polls so I will post them into the same thread to prevent spamming. These are the different polls. Poll 1 Palkia vs Dialga Poll 2 Groudon (WITH SOLARBEAM) vs Kyogre Poll 3 Rayquaza vs Deoxys and Poll 4 Mew vs Mewtwo Just vote in the poll once per each poll (so 4 votes) and if you have any discussions or arguments, please discuss them below. ^.^
MasterOfMagicians
*sigh*Dialga would win over Palkia simply because of the type advantage. No, Steel/Dragon does not have the advantage over Water/Dragon, but the Defense of Steel/Dragon combined is greater than that of Water/Dragon, combined with some of their best attacks, Steel attacks can over-power Water attacks any day.Battle goes to Dialga. Kyogre would win in a battle against Groudon simply because of the speed/typing factor. Kyogre is faster and has the type advantage over Groudon. One strong water-type attack would destroy the opposing Groudon, whether it has Solar Beam or not. In a battle against a Psychic-type Pokemon like Deoxys, you need a Dark-type attack or you've lost. Since you have no information on what form Deoxys has taken, OR the attacks of either pokemon, I'm going to cut down to brass knuckles and just spell it out. Unless you taught Rayquaza Crunch, he's toast. Deoxys would have won simply because of a Psychic/Recover move factor. Mewtwo has the advantage over Mew. Yes, mew can learn any TM/HM move, however Mewtwo has better statistics and better naturally learned attacks. Combined with Recover/Psychic combination for attacks, he's won. Zexaeon
Poll 1 Palkia vs Dialga Palkia. Spacial Rend/Draco Meteor takes off nearly all of Dialga's HP, even with maxed Def/Sp.Def. Palkia is also faster. Dialga would drop dead before it could kill Palkia. Poll 2 Groudon (WITH SOLARBEAM) vs Kyogre Interestingly enough, if Groudon is slower, than it would win. The faster pokemon activates its ability first - so Kyogre's drizzle would summon a rainstorm, but then Groudon would summon Sunlight with Drought, removing the rain. With sunlight in effect, Kyogre not only loses a secondary boost to its Water attacks, but it also has said water attacks hit with half as much power as they normally do, as Sunlight does that to Water. Kyogre now has no means of OHKOing Groudon, allowing Groudon to go to town with Earthquakes - don't bother with Solarbeam, Groudon's Sp.Atk is rubbish. However, if the Groudon is somehow faster than the Kyogre, then he's already lost. Poll 3 Rayquaza vs Deoxys Form-dependent. Attack Deoxys would probably win, as it packs a 180 base Sp.Atk and the ability to use Ice Beam. Normal Deoxys could do the same thing. Defense Deoxys has access to high defenses and low attacking power, and would likely lose - Rayquaza, being faster, could simply paralyze it with Thunder Wave, and then proceed to Roost away damage, while consistently crunching or pursuing Deoxys to death. Speed Deoxys would win - it's high speed plus decent attack power would spell instant Icy doom for Rayquaza. and Poll 4 Mew vs Mewtwo This battle can go anywhere. Mew is such an incredibly versatile pokemon (it learns every TM/HM), that this battle all comes down to what moves both pokemon know. There are hundreds of ways it could go, as both are formidable move-learning machines, so I dunno. Mewtwo has higher stats, though.
