In the village:

"An intruder! Quickly, over here!"

Shouts could be heard from down a certain street, as well as the sounds of clashing steel, and the agonizing screams of fallen Warriors. Bodies line the street, the grass beneath them colored a deep red. The Warrior in black walked slowly, inspecting each house and tent as he passed them, and cutting through anyone that got in his way. "Oh Xain....come out, come out, whereever you are..."

Xain wakes up from a short nap to hear screaming from outside the hole. He hears voices nearby. "HEY YOU! OLD MAN! HAVE YOU SEEN ANYONE WHO LOOKS LIKE THIS?" The Dark Blade soldier holds up a picture of Xain. The old man replies. "No, I'm sorry, but I've never seen him before." The soldier looks at his team. "YOU THREE! SEARCH AROUND THIS AREA FOR HIM!" Soldiers search around the old man's property. Xain watches as their shadows pass by. "I can't let them do this, they're going to kill everyone here!" The Winged Kuriboh beside him becomes scared and clutches onto his arm. Xain jumps out and tries to charge a magical blast, but fails. "Oh no. I forgot that magic doesn't work here in Sogen!" He runs out into the streets getting the attention of many soldiers. The Winged Kuriboh lets go of his arm and stares angrily at the soldiers. "What is it doing?" Xain stops and watches as the Winged Kuriboh's wings grow larger. A white beam of light comes down from the sky, turning the Winged Kuriboh into a fierce monster.

The soldiers jump onto the new monster. A white flash destroys the soldiers and the Winged Kuriboh. Xain turns and runs into the nearby forest.

well then i will tell you it in the same way i was told. it is rummured that not so long ago about when the war begain, there was a legandary soceror who was rummered to control time. he was said to live in a strange dimension asset from time itself. now when the war begain the lord of the spellcasters ordered all spellcastes to swear loyalty to her. now only a few did but the others who refused where captured a made slaves. now when she declared her order the sorrceror or time wizard refused and tried to make piece with her. enraged at his decival she captured him but no sooner that he escaped into his dimmension. 4 weeks later he surendered himself and was killed instantly. why he surrendered himself no one knows but ledgend has it that before he died he taught a select few his gift the gift to control time.

it is said that to this day they still exist and i had recently tracked one down to the volcano where i found that statue i was told that only 1 person knew who and where to find those chosen by time, the time chronicals.

"ah, that explains your journy. i will help you if you need it. revert." alius was back to his original form. "but there is something else on your mind, the wizard's power can wait." he looked out the window shortly. then walked over to reciou and began to heal her. it took time, but her wounds eventually closed, and her breathing became steady.

"yeah, stay here, look after reciou. i have to go take care of something." alius went into fire mode and went outside. he saw a few dark blade soldiers running around. "hey, losers. what are you looking for. a fight? well get ready." alius shot flames at the rest of the dark blades, and incinerated several of them. "come on wusses."

now alone with reciou neo thinks to himself " how? only a select few know the secret method but it's doutful that she knows. there are only a few that know. it could be that she built up so much energy to break the barrior but that can't be it. she would have to built it and kept it for at least 10 minutes. but she released it at once. and she didn't even show power on the first blast.

OOC: Jeez, I go to school and +100 posts? That sucks!

Archlord Zerato could see the problem... and he had just robbed the Resistance of their leader when they needed him. He turned and sprinted out of the palace, pounding past Meltiel and Neo-Parshath, who were swept into his wake. He finally reached the gates of the Sanctuary in the Sky, where Dex was looking confused and distinctly out of place.

"My name is Archlord Zerato," he said, nodding to the Airknight that was standing next to Dex. "I'm sure Parshath here told you I needed an urgent word, but there is worse strife back in Sogen. Zera the Mant has invaded, and... as I needed to tell you, the Dark World has risen again. We Fairies have watched the cosmos and the earth below it, and history is set to repeat itself. We cannot allow that to happen, but to fight fate is to attempt to move a mountain. It... cannot be done."

The Archlord summoned another portal behind Dex. "I have no time to explain these things," he said hurriedly. "The Forces of Darkness have organised a raid on your camp. You must return, general. Fate has dictated that you will lose this fight, but you must nullify the pain. There are a few of your troops fighting still, swelled with loyalty or bloodlust, and they require your aid. Parshath!" he barked. The fairy-warrior stood to precise attention.

"Go with him," commanded Zerato. "We will aid you as we can, General. As for now... you must stop the slaughter at Sogen. We will speak after the battle."

Zerato turned, and stalked quickly back into the palace, leaving Meltiel and Neo-Parshath momentarily stunned before they swept after him.

"My Archlord!" cried Neo-Parshath. "I must ask! May we..."

"No," replied Zerato. "I will not allow you to defend Sogen. We cannot directly interfere with fate. Changing one thing can have a thousand different effects in a thousand different times and places. We cannot risk interfering with fate. Bring me the history books."

Meltiel and Neo-Parshath looked worriedly at each other. "The... history books?"

"Yes," said the Archlord impatiently.

"But... you said..."

"I said we were not to interfere," said the Archlord. "I did not say we could not simply observe the outcome."

"But... my Archlord," said Meltiel worriedly. "Parshath... you sent him... into..."

"I sent him in the original timeline," dismissed Zerato. "He lay in wait, and he was the one who told me what had occured. But something fundamental has changed. The Dark World did not rise in the original history. Something has changed, and I REQUIRE the history books to find that!"

The three of them, two of them following the purposeful Archlord hesistantly, had already made it into the great library, the most comprehensive house of books within the lands now. And they contained the history books, huge, lead-bound books, six feet tall, written in tiny handwriting, the chronicals of all known history. And they weren't merely books on past histories: these books were the books of how history was, they were the script to the unfolding drama. Zerato absently pulled one of the huge volumes from it's shelf, where it fell open obediently to where he began reading, levitating above the precious text. The most disturbing part was the SCRATCHING: history was constantly changing, especially parts that hadn't happened yet. Zerato found his place, and began to read as the tiny, even writing morphing and squirmed even as he read it. His face contorted into a wry smile as he magically snapped the book back and replaced it upon it's shelf.

He turned back to Meltiel. "We must do something. We cannot allow history to resolve like this..."

On his way to the forest, he saw something, but ran so fast that it was a blur.

"What was that?" Xain turns around and sees some figures in the distance. One was big and looked much like a werewolf. The others were farther and harder to see. Xain slowly walks towards them.

Fenrir stopped in his tracks, with the help of his advanced senses of Smell and Hearing, realised that there was someone by the Forest. He crouched by some nearby fiends using them as an excuse to get a better view at the "intruder".

Fenrir slowly approached his target making minimal sound. As soon as he made sure that he was in no danger, he removed the Spellcaster's Staff and flung him over his shoulder. Fenrir started back towards the village to interrogate him.
